  1. bollocks. if this were actually true, all it would say is that you have the most mentally weak dressing room in all of sports. oh the gaffer yelled at wee aiden so i don't know if i can score anymore? is this a * take?

  2. the board signed ki du wei etc,for financial purposes,keane-to get fans back at the games.not for best interests of results is it? do you think MON would put up with this nonsense? i think not.end of.

  3. But he didnt and Rangers won the league

I think it was a bit more than that mate. I'm led to believe that the majority of players sided with McGeady as he very harshy treated and lost any respect for Strachan after that, and it showed on the pitch.

Wasn't just McGeady Strachan argued with either.

  4. Du Wei was a loan signing to assess his ability

Ki looks like he can hold his own in the SPL, no excuse for a manager not being able to use him to win matches.

Keane is a quality player and 6 month ago was a deemed a complete pipe dream for Celtic, the board delivered a quality EPL player for Mowbray to use and he cant get the results.

MON lost titles to 'poor' Rangers sides too, he did put up with it

EDIT You do realise that the majority of clubs in Europe operate in a similar fashion to Celtic. Most of the top ones, the manager has NO SAY in who is bought. Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, etc, the manager just does the managing.

  5. You're being ridiculous now.

If you're going to seriously suggest that Tony Mowbray is to blame when Samaras or Fortune'e miss a sitter from 6 yards out then I can't really see the point of debating things any further. To me that is just madness.

You'll be blaming Tony Mowbray for the recession next. :87:

  6. Of course he's not totally to blame, but he has an influence in the players confidence - it's in his job description. Confident players don't miss THAT many chances. West Brom were the same last season......many chances created........very few scored.

  7. so out of spite, they deliberately ran the season into the wall to show up strachan? this keeps getting better, go on I want more.

  8. the thread is defending mowbray ,not slating him

  9. So what's your explanation for Samaras' form in the second half of last season then? He couldn't hit a cow's * with a banjo then either.

  10. oh he's just *, thats all

  11. *!:56:

What a stupid statement. Have you never heard of players not playing for the manager? the phrase 'the manager lost the dressing room'? Because that's what happened last season.

  12. i was comparing there strange descisions at times ,but i meant i wasn't comparing their managerial stature or ability

  13. says you. he's indefensible

  14. My explanation for what? I already said all the strikers were shocking the 2nd half of last season.

  15. No it wasnt, the strikers couldnt score consistently was the problem.

  16. well i just did defend him so he obviously is defensible

  17. So the strikers just go from scoring freely to not hitting a barn door after January? That goes back to confidence from the manager.

  18. the only reason he rates fortune over ras is because he payed out the * for fortune, and he doesnt want to admit hes wrong

  19. No it comes down to loss of form or not being good enough.
