Boruc new contract talks.

Am suprised by this i felt they were set to cash in.

 

Brilliant news! I would be totally devastated if Artur left the club. It just wouldn't be the same without him between the sticks. Love the big man.

We might be cashing in.. this just might be a ploy to get more money for him

 

he will make us more money being part of a successful team next year than flog him for cheap in the summer hope he stays

He seems to be on top form in the last few games. I wonder if they've been working on a contract for weeks now. That might explain his jump in form a bit. He probably is relieved to know he'll be here next year, at least I hope that's the case

 

good news been a bit dodgey end of last season and a we bit into this but glad to see him stay as he showed the last 2-3 weeks when hes on his game the saves he can make can and will win you matches

If this thread was to happen a month ago the opinions would be quite different.


A few games later and he's 'world-class'....not in my book he isn't. Has to do it over 15 games, not 3.

 

its been more than 3 games, and he was v good at the start of the season, got injured and played injured a while thats why he was bad then came back had to find some form which he has, and i believe hel keep it now

 

Falkirk, Rangers, Dundee Utd. Next game was Aberdeen where he conceded 4 and was at fault for 2 of them. Couple of games before that was Dunfermline where he was 10 yards out his goal for some absurd reason.


Good at the start? I'd say August only and was poor from September onwards.


He's certainly cost us more points than he's saved this season, but because this news comes on the back of a few good performances, everyone hails it, and IMO, wrongly so.

Form is temporary. Class is permanent. Artur has it.

Still wish he'd ship a few pounds though.

 

Overused saying and not true. Lot of players start off brilliantly and lose it later on in their careers, mostly down to their mental state and/or fitness, which I attribute most of Artur's mistakes to.


A blunder is sadly still right round the corner IMO. I'll judge him at the end of the season, not 270 decent minutes.

 

Sick of being pessimistic all the time but i've never rated him so would be happy if he left for a few quid.
