Whats the deal with the big man? Why on earth does he never start or atleast come on everyweek?

I understand Keanes arrival wasnt exactly expected and wasnt planned when we bought this guy but im willing to gaurantee if we had signed Ras last summer we would be top of the league with the ammount of chances we created early on in the season.

Surely TM should be trying to keep Ras happy since he will be our striker next season when Keane has gone?

That, and not to mentioned most of the chances we create are tailored for him. Keane rarely gets a chance to break the defense and go 1 on 1. He scored when he got them, which is excellent, but we didn't score other chances, because Rasmussen wasn't in.

I think with kean used to the uk style of football and the amount he cost the club they really have to play him.
The other lad will be given a little time to settle in and get used to things and then will be in the team more and more.....

You will loose your future man's chance @ the world cup if you continue like this...

In the Danish Press - "Big Ras" is already out of the picture 4 the World Cup. 3 Weeks ago he was in, but if you don't play him, you (or we) wont ever gain anything from the obvious...

I think he's unfortunate that Keane's arrived, going from the game's he's played in the hoops i think he definitely deserves a chance.

Keane can just create more than him so thats we he starts IMO. Rassy could have a very bright future here and I think that we will see much more of him before the seasons end.

I like many am disappointed with the lack of game time Raz is getting .I hope TM is man managing this well behind the scenes as he will be away in the summer ..Agreed keanes arrival was unexpected but for Sammy to come on in the last 2 games was a shocking decision , Raz should have been on ...The guy is a poacher and deserves better ..Come on give the guy a chance

Plz forgive me this post (!?!).

Rasmussen shouldn't have changed/transferd clubs in an attempt to get to the world cup, just because the rooster says "Celtic"...

You have spoiled this guys chances @ going to the World Cup, although he might still do the job for you....

i like him, but he must be scratching his head as to why he isnt getting a game. I can understand the chances are slim, with Robbie Keane being on 65k a week, and TM saying that Fortune was the number 1 striker, i suppose he just needs to grab the chance when he gets it.

he has just been unfortunate because of the rival of keane but keane wont be here next season so rasmussen will be our hero when keane leaves..:icon_mrgreen:

TM would be slaughtered if he dropped Keane, with the money hes getting, although Keane has been playing very well, Fortune has his moments, hes a player that sets up the goals and scores the odd Wonder Ping here and there, but his chance will come, hes a long term replacement for McDonald.

If we do not win the OF game then he league is over. After that, except perhaps the cup games, we shouldnt give any loan players much game time unless they are likely to be here next year. I think that will mean only NGuemo. I know he is a good player but to continue to play Keane in league games if the league is gone and he is off in the summer would be like bread and circuses for the fans. Ras should start every game once the title is gone.

Aye i know he would my arguement is that TM fetches Sammy on instead of Raz ..he came on as Sub v the accies and scored in 3 mins ..he started the cup game and scored 1 and forced the OG ..He seems to be a good impact player and we should be using that attribute whilst Keane is here

Come Saturday if we do not win then its over and the loan makes no sense unless you think in terms of shirt sales etc rather than long term team development. Ras is part of the long terms development and the minute the title is gone then that is all that should matter. It would be crazy if a loan player was picked in meaningless games simply because of his wages. Is it 65,000 a game or a week? That would make a big difference. Was it ever shown if this is really coming out of Desmonds pocket?

Rasmussen's playing time, or lack of is just another example of Mowbray's failings as a manager.

Samaras seems to be classed as a better player than Rasmussen, although I havent seen Rasmussen play much. From what I have seen of him he seems to be the poacher Celtic have been desperately needing for a long while. I watched a lot of his goals he scored for Brondby and they are very rarely pretty, but he seems the type of player that is always in the right place at the right time. I just wish he was played more.

Yeah i suppose, I think Mowbray likes the way Sammy plays though, he comes deep for the ball, then runs for abit then loses it if he doesnt either pass or shoot. He must see Sammy playing a part in the league run in.

Why does Samaras get a game before him, it's laughable.
