Scoring freely? Scoring freely..so before we the problem wasn't the fact that our defenders were running into each other? It was our lack of goals.

Like the 3-3 game versus Falkirk in November ?

.do you mean the sitters that were missed during recent league games? like these....

    Kilmarnock 1-0 Celtic

    Celtic 1-2 Hibernian

Its the defense and the lack of consistency all round, its poor tactics and worse coaching and motivating.

Look at what O'Neill did he arrived and took a team that had been getting a roasting into winners? Why? Because he was able to make people beleive and he had a passion to win which he instilled in others?

Where is that same passion to win, do you see it on the players or on the coachning staff through the games? Maybe there's one or two leaders on the park but I do not see it.

I hope to * I am proved wrong and we charge on a winning run..to put the heat on the huns...but I will be very surprised if TM manages that... . He so far displays no qualities I would want as manager of my side.

If Mowbray's overall integrity as a man is also in question-(as noted by some here, saying he has limited control over who is bought and subsequently selected on matchdays),then that can be added to his organisational ineptitude in using the players whom he is 'given'to work with.At least over at the Deathstar they have a manager who sticks his head above the party-line parapet and tells their fans what is going on-Bank ownership et al. Pre-signing agreements about budgets are one thing, but some of the leeway Mowbray's trading on is borne of his 'honesty to the fans'-so.......?

probably exactly what i was doing for the last 4 weeks or so but as i said in an earlier post if things improve over the course of the rest of the season then will gladly eat humble pie.still currently dont think he's up to it.

Will give Mogga the benefit of doubt, but it would be nice to see a passionate manager in the dugout, & some passion on the park as well.
Would also like to see the crowd get back to the backing they gave during MON's era, compared to then, the atmosphere at CP now is somewhat muted.

That's why i want Neil Lennon in the dugout.

He's got a lot of passion and I think he done a job when he was in the dugout under Strachan.

how much is mowbray going cost club and put us back in huge debt again after strachan got rid off most off our debt. 3 million to get him and staff. lost champion league money ( all do we were unlucky too get arsenal ) knock out off europa cup. the league looks lost and 10 million champion league money again. wil we even quality europa league. that attendances are at lowest they ever been. how much money are we losing every two weeks. i say 500k each game. plus we have that highest wage bill in spl for rubbish. we doing wat rangers done in 90s brought big names too try win league and fail. our debt wil be up near 10 million come that summer. this has been a costly gamble and dont see light at end off tunnel. that team may go on unbeating run but still wont win us league. where money going come too strenghting squad in summer. we be selling again. its looks like depressing times for both old firm in summer. is mowbray contract up in summer. we can sack him and not owe him compensation

For the love of *, YOU called it a transaction. Ain't kids supposed to be monitored when on the internet? :97:

Anyway, I take it by your response that reading, retaining and understanding basic coaching theory is beyond your capacity? That contemplating the concept of consistency is subserviant to your determination to make a complete * of yourself?

No wonder the press lift stories from these websites.

Perhaps you are seeing what you are seeing because your head is stuck in the sand like an ostrich.

We are like the Titanic heading straight for the rocks under Mowbray, and yet we have some deluded fans on here who still can't see the ICEBERG ahead :87:

Having the patience to see through a complete team rebuild does not equal having your head buried in the sand.

Greetin and moaning like a spoiled child every time we don't win a match is not a quality I particularly like in football fans and I will not behave in that manner. There have been people sticking the boot into Tony Mowbray ever since we lost at home to Dinamo. Some of the things that have been said about him are pathetic and completely without logic.

Well no matter how much we disagree on TM.....I believe that the OF games will be a massive turning point for those who still believe he is the man.

Not long to go now.....and we shall see whether he has any teeth or fight in him, so far I see nothing.

Whilst not defending some of the shocking results we have had so far this season what a lot of supporters need to realise is that contrary to popular belief this is not a poor or * rangers team that a lot of people think it is, imo it is the strongest huns team for a number of years and the majority of them have played together for nearly 4yr so they know each other inside out and play to their strength's.

We are currently going through a transitional period under mowbray with him carrying out changes that i think most of us agreed were needed with us being in decline imo for the last two years of wgs even though we nearly made it 4iar and personally i would rather strachan had stayed and been given decent funds to rebuild but he chose to leave instead so there is no point in saying if only we still had wgs it was his decision to leave.

Whilst mowbray is still celtic manager he will have my support just the same as any other manager we have had down the years had but that does not make him immune from criticism for some strange decisions in tactics and substitions and general tinkering with the team especially the defence when consistancy was required imo and probably everyone elses too.

I feel the board are definetely not immune from criticism either as mowbray must have surely telling them 2 new c/bs were priority in jan knowing caldwell would be sold leaving us with mick, loovens and o'dea when he came back and mowbray clearly didnt fancy any of them the board should have brought replacements in before anyone was let go not after it was as if the board were saying during january "Right guys the transfer window doesnt close till midnight on the first of feb so if we can hold off spending early in jan even though we really need too and do all our shopping on the 1st of feb we can get more interest on bank balance for jan and hopefully pick up some last minute bargains on deadline day.

    NEVER LEARN

BOARD DID NOT GIVE MON MONEY TO STRENGTHEN THE TEAM WHEN WE WERE STRONG, WASTED A LOT ON WGS SIGNINGS, SHOULD HAVE GOT US A STRIKER LAST YEAR AT THIS TIME WOULD HAVE WON THE LEAGUE, THEN APPOINTED THIS NUMPTY EVERYONE AND THIER GRANNY NEW OUR DEFENCE HAS BEEN * FOR YEARS, EG LEE NAYLOR? NEED I SAY ANYMORE, NOW PANIC WITH ALL THE CHANGES???? AND HE PUTS ON STRIKERS WHEN AT 4-2 INSTEAD OF DEFENDERS, SAME AS JACKANOSKI SCORE 5 GOALS AND STILL GO OUT OF EUROPE. WE DONT LEARN BY OUR MISTAKES THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE, THEY ARE TOO BUSY LINNING THIER POCKETS, WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MUCH THIER EXSPENSES ARE!!!!!!

Hear, hear. I'd just like to add that if Mowbray does go it won't mean we don't need to rebuild the team, it'll just mean that they'll be someone else doing it. Worse, a whole season will go down the pan as whoever comes in will have to start from scratch with their own plan.

Sacking managers at the first sign of trouble is not the way to go. If you do that you turn into a Newcastle, or a QPR. Unstable with over-inflated expectations. Stability is the key.

considering the financial condition of the huns currently, i wouldn't be surprised if the sfa encouraged giving them a wee boost in some way to make sure they don't go * up

    Taken from another forum:

    37 competitive games...17 wins....11 draws...9 defeats..scored 64...conceded 42...

14 wins out of 25 in the SPL...a league which is a two horse race........ [IMG] [IMG]

5 defeats in those games...the same number of defeats as Hibs and Dundee utd....FFS Motherwell have only lost 6... [IMG]

we have conceded 19 away goals in the SPL.....only 3 teams have a worse record...and they are all in the bottom 4...

to date he hasn't managed six games unbeaten...never mind six consecutive wins... [IMG]

and yet you seem to think that we don't lack organisation.. [IMG]

    and as I posted yesterday..

1-0 up at home to the Huns..12 mins left

1-0 up away at Tannadice...7 mins left

3-2 up at Falkirk....7 mins left

4-2 up at Pittodrie..17 mins left.

1-0 up at home to Hibs after 5 mins..

1-0 up away to Hearts after 21 mins..

how can you only get 3 points out of 18 from that set of circumstances.....

and that doesn't include the phenomenal achievement of holding Motherwell, Falkirk and Dundee Utd to draws in home games..and becoming the first Celtic manger to lose to Kilmarnock in about 1000 years...

is 3 points from 12 in those 4 games an acceptable return...given the respective resources of those clubs as against ours...

is 6 points from those possible 30 a sign of a competent manager...
