Biggest weakness of Celtic's this season?

Shoddy defending/goalkeeping and lack of goals.

Hopefully that'll be put behind us now with the new recruits.

 

Defending has been poor all season
Midfield has done well enough, not enough goals from it though
Strikers have just been unlucky not to finish more of their chances

Hopefully all those problems are behind us after January

 

Defense and scoring from midfield. But Defense is first.

 

The strikers have been a problem this season but, for me, the biggest problem has been our defence. Individual errors and the inability to hold on to a lead have both bedevilled us this season. Opposing teams now fancy their chances of scoring against us and it shows.

The defence has been * but if we go by the Jock Stein way of thinking and we just scored more then we'd of won more games this season. Therefore I voted for Strikers. However I think we've sorted that now and its the defence

 

tactics , pushing to many players forward making us vulnerable to counter attacks right through to our defence

I am astonished that somebody could vote for the midfield at a time when the strikers have been missing sitters, our goalkeeper is clearly overweight and the defence has been pourous to say the least.

The defending has been poor although I expect it to improve now that Hoovield has signed. I still think that it needs to be improved this summer.

 

i'm surprised nobody has said the supporters are to blame yet. that seems to be apopular excuse. blame it on fickle supporters. if we only had more faith, we'd probably be topping the table as we speak

* defending , poor finishing but just as importantly Tony Mowbrays inability to find a settled team and stick with it!!!!!!!!!!

 

Main problem is we're shipping too many goals, end of! 3-3 and 1-1 v Falkirk, 1-2 and 1-1 v huns, 3-3 v Rapid....Common theme is we're scoring alright and the picture would be a lot brighter if we keep more out. I say bench the roly poly holy goalie and bring big Zal back as he never really put a foot wrong whereas Boruc is out of position too much for my liking.
