OK - loads of folk on here a couple of hours ago saying how TM and the board had done great, made some excellent signings, wahey! Things are looking rosy.

Two hours later, we've had a bad result, but played not bad. Chances didn't go in. And suddenly the manager must go, team's a disaster, everything is *.

Is their some kind of mental disorder going on here people?

Three of the players out there tonight were playing their first game for the club. We lost two players to injury in the opening part of the game. You can't judge a new team under those circumstances. Yet despite all that we created a number of chances, and it just wasn't our night.

So why, I am wondering, are a fair number of people now going apeshit?

(And yeah, I do realise that some of the folk going apeshit were notably absent from the forum yesterday and earlier today - at a time of great and unexpected jubilation for the club - and only emerged from the woodwork once we had lost...)

How many times can Mowbray get excused for performances like that? His record is worse than Barnes. Woeful.

It baffles me that people are still making excuses for him. The fact is he is a gash manager and is ruining the team. He has absolutely no passion on the sidelines.

People were optimistic yesterday with all the new signings, but it was just papering over the very wide cracks.

    Good point.
I think the problem is lots of people (including me) expected a rejuvenated Celtic side to come in and start winning games. Unfortunately today we saw more of the same old story with Celtic this season which is extremely frustrating.
The league is not over yet. It just looks extremely unlikely.
    Up the tic!

Finally, voice of reason. Agreed with that post, shows how fickle our fans are and how many vultures gather after bad result. Yesterday he was the man for bringing Keane in, now people want him sacked.

I have backed mogga all season but after that i am really struggling to make up more excuses for him.

The last time i can remember a bad as a decision such as brown at left back was when barnes played petrov at right back.

Well, Tony Mowbray has nothing to do with the signing of Robbie Keane. That was all the board. So he deserves none of that credit.

In fact, he deserves no credit at all. Today's performance was the worst I've seen this season, don't know what you lot were watching. Tony out ASAP.

    Look.

    It's dead simple.

If he doesn't go sooner he will go later.

HE WILL DO NOTHING FOR OUR CLUB.

THE KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY IS SIMPLY NOT THERE.

I'm perplexed. The thing he has to do first and fore most is giving McGeady a right good kick up the *. He is like a man down and I dont care what anybody says HE IS LIKE A MAN DOWN.

Was delighted with the keane signing but never once praised Mowbray for it. Anyone thinks that was his signing needs there head checked, even lawwell said we have been trying for years to get him.

Its a results business and he is not getting them. if hibs win there came in hand we are 3rd in the league.

Never changed my opinion wanted him to be a success but from day 1 never thought he was the right man. His Body language is terrible, his coaching staff are a joke. Looks a man that is close to breaking point.

I still think tht the board and Mowbray did well with the signings no denying tht, but how may times can we create so many chances and not win.

Signing have been good but Mowbray has had his time now

Bring in a new manager (Lambert) now and he will have no pressure to do anything this season, I think he would do a great job, he knows how to get the best out of players, and lets face it he couldn't do much worse.

I've backed Mogga all along, but what worried me the most tonight was his lack of drive, & ability to motivate the players when we were chasing the game.

He looked totally lost on the touchline, scared to shout at his players, couldn't believe the shot of him just sitting there in the dugout with a few minutes to go.
Even Grant, a bigger Celtic man than Mogga seems subdued.
We have no leader on or off the park at the moment, & that scares me.

We will have to stick with Mogga until the end of the season, unless the pressure gets too much for him & he walks, I hope he proves me wrong & turns things around, but personally I just thought he looked clueless & out of his depth tonight.

You hit the nail on the head mate every1 has ago a people for giving pelters to Mowbray but Kilmarnock had 18 points from games tonight we cant beat falkirk we lost to hibs at home and we've lost 11 of 36 games Mowbray has took charge of nearly a third of the games he's overseen its not kneejerk or people gloryhunting its genuine * concern for our club! Do people like getting laughed at by the * huns when they cant spend * compared to us?

Totally agree. Tonight's performance was no different from most of the other * we've had to endure this season.

Can say that Killie didn't really have many chances, but our defending for their goal was embarrassing. Players no even making an attempt to mark men or tackle, an absolute disgrace. No fight what so ever.

Can also go on about us being unlucky, and missing chances. That's bollocks. Something that happens so often isn't down to luck.

I've backed Mowbray since day 1, I might have pointed that out on here a couple of times but this is it. This can't continue.

I believe we deserved this. It was a euphoric situation after Keano came. Like I said this morning, it takes time. Nothing happens over night.

Dont know how any celtic fan could watch that game tonight and be anything other than * raging.
Of course we were all excited last night. The signing of Robbie Keane was the biggest for years and we were right to praise the board (not Mowbray). Tonight was the most excited I've been before a game in a long time but the performance, effort, tactics and substitutions were an absolute embarassment. A complete let down and it all comes from Mowbrays lack of tactical awareness and motivational skills,
To say we have a mental disorder because we were happy last night and angry tonight is ridiculous

    After one game aye?

This annoys the life out of me we are accused of reacting after one bad game everytime.

What about hibs falkirk (twice) dundee utd st mirren hearts and all the rest.

People were expecting everything to be rosey because of the amount of quality we have brought in but low and nehold same old crap theres only one connection with all these bad performances Mowbray.
