    I'd go with

    Boruc
    Hinkel Thompson Hooiveld O'Dea
    McGinn Crosas Ki McGeady
    Fortuné Rasmussen

Hopefully the new boys get a start, think Hooiveld the most likely, but would also like to se a striker in the box who will stay there and get on the ed of crosses rather than camp out in the wing like the other two do. Chose Fortuné over Sammy simply because I think he needs a run in th team and a few goals to get confidence up where as Sammy doesn't. Ki in for Zhi who has been anonymous the last few weeks. I was actually impressed with him when he first came but he's done nothing in his run of starts that makes me feel we should renew his contract in the summer.

I really cannot see why this guy rasmussen should be given a starting slot against hibs tonight ahead of samaras, samaras has done nothing wrong to merit a place on the subs bench. This guy rasmussen should not be thrown in at the deepend. He only signed yesterday. Instead give him 20-30 minutes and see how he gets on.

Some people dont know what they want on this forum. One minute they think fortune is a flop when he came to the club and the next he should be starting ahead of sammy, some fans are quick to judge.

    Give sammy a break!

Exactly! I don't see why Rasmussen would start. Samaras in his last 10-20 games has done nothing but score, and when he hasn't scored he has been dangerous, made chances and looked a threat.

I agree both Samaras and Fortune have worked their socks off, although they don't make the greatest of partnerships, none of them deserve to be dropped at this moment in time.

That's the problem, they have been working their socks off but they aren't the best of partnerships because they are too similar, i.e drifting out wide all the time. Rasmussen is supposedly a Boyd type that stays in the box and sniffs out goals. I would like to see Rasmussen and either Fortune or Samaras just to see how it works. As Fortune was Mowbray's signing I think he will get the nod ahead of Samaras.

I'm quite looking forward to seeing either Fortune/Rasmussen or Samaras/Rasmussen. I think they will work well together.

Rasmussen should be on the bench & hopefully we'll see him on the pitch at some point.

Sammy & Fortune have both had 2 goals in their last 2 starts if I'm thinking right, why would we want to break their momentum?

I think St. Mirren have already beaten or drawn with Rangers this season, can't be arsed to check though - Rangers have some extra options up front now, but heres hoping.

Sammys pace seems, imo, to fit well into Hibs more attacking kind of football. They gonna give us room to play, and in that case Sammy should start instead of Rasmussen.

Rasmussen would have maked sense in the second half against St. Johnstone because they stood so defensive. Hibs playing differently and it calls for Sammy + Fortuné.

Btw, I isn't a big fan of O'Dea, surently not as left back, so I would go would Lee Naylor who at least give our left winger back up.

I've said this before but I feel all 3 of them up there is the way forward:

    ......................Boruc..................

    ..Hinkel..Thompson..Hooiveld..Odea..

    ..............Crosas........Ki................

    ...................McGeady.................

    ..Fortune......Ramussen......Samaras

I'd be more than happy to give that a try. 4-3-3 would suit the flowing football that Mowbray craves. Crosas was raised playing nothing but this fomation and it would give McGeady plenty of freedom while letting Fortuné and Sammy drift wide to turn provider for Rasmussen.

Don't think TM will play this though.

I feel this will be harder than the OF game. I hope Hibs attack us and our defenders cope because i can't see us not scoring.

We look so lightweight/lack fight in the midfield with absence of nguemo.

    HINKEL THOMPSON HOOIVELD ODEA

    MCGINN CROSAS KI/ZHI MCGEADY

    FORTUNE SAMARAS

    OR

TommyBhoys line up - looks pretty sick actually.

I think we all do but to be fair the criticism of O'Dea has been justified, especially given the blind adulation he has received in the past.
