    You have to bear in mind we've got a few off the wage bill aswell, Id bet Mulgrew & Ri's wages put together would come to about the same amount Naylor was on.

    Probably not as much as the MON era but we will be outlaying a fair sum. The rest of the squad are on relatively low wages (i expect) compared to others in previous seasons.

    Yeah maybe so, who knows.

    Its a good thing to replace these guys with quality and spend nothing on fees...it shouldnt be seen as a bad thing. Great business.

    i hope this is a big wake up call for the players of last season that the position at celtic park is under threat because i know some of the free signs are very good players like ledley cambell cha and mulgrew 1 other play i hope we sign is geovanni he will give bullard and ledley a run for there money

    well johan said we were looking to bring in up to 4 new faces BEFORE the season starts so maybe more to come and possibly some once the season is underwaay

    there will be more than enough clubs looking to pay 3million or more for his services and we have him on a free if he turns out not to be 'right' for celtic then i am sure we will still stand to make money if we have to get rid of him

    its a win win

    personaly i think he will be a good player for the club

    He can only be there to sign. He would have no other reason to be there IMO. Im delighted that it is being reported now. Its def got to be concrete then. Happy days.

    Why else would he be at CP? More talks? I doubt it. He is there for the finishing touches IMO

    Excited at the prospects. We badly need new blood, but is Ledley really a game changer for us? Haven't been that blown away by the couple highlight reels I've seen, but don't know much really about his ability.
