If it was a white guy dressed as a muslim the reaction would have been no different, White or not.

 

Theres plenty of examples of religous extremism, not just by Muslims. If people are going to start to stereotype, they should do it to all religions. Either that, or people should stop living in fear, as that is a sign terrorism and religous extremism is winning.

 

What do we really have to fear from Catholicism or the Protestant faith?

What do we fear from the muslim,Sheik or Islamic faiths... * loads. we are being openly threatened in our own Country by some of them and as I pointed out earlier, it isn't easy to tell them apart.

If you lived in Northern Ireland during the worst of the troubles, a * of a lot. If you live in the West bank, you'd be fearfull of the Isreali's, and vice versa.

If your going to start drawing comparisons with the war in iraq and people in the UK simply asking the bus driver to speak to someone on a bus then don't please mate because it's silly.

We are not talking about abroad, we are talking about something on home shores.

Supposing we were talking about elsewhere, yeah they probably are afraid of most of the armed forces.

 

Point taken about the troubles but we were talking about here and now, and I don't think many of us have any fear of the aforementioned.

If i lived there mate then yes but i don't and they are not a threat to the UK islamic extremists are considered a major risk to the uk and they will try to attack us again it's only a matter of time so again i repeat i don't blame those people for having the guy checked out.

 

ok then.....what if a muslim was on a bus,and a brit in uniform got on...has that muslim a right to complain and say they feared for their life ?

how can you draw a comparison between thousands of people being made to live in terrible conditions and a muslim guy simply being asked to step of a bus and answer a few questions. laughable

Travelling from Ireland to Glasgow.
Special branch or whoever the brains were would always take a few people in for questioning.

 

In Britain, no I wouldn't think so.

 

But what if that muslim had his entire family wiped out by a few bad brits.......has he no rite to be afraid of every brit ?

I ask because in this thread alot of people are saying all muslims are there to be questioned and this is ok.

Also...the more you oppress a people,the more they will fight back.

What im saying is not all muslims are going to blow up buses.

 

I'm not aware of anything like that happening lately but you can understand why they would be stopped in the time the IRA were a threat.
