Exactly Mate tony is not doing it all , we dont even look like a team that give a * there is no passion or desire , that comes from the Gaffer i fear he is too laid back ,

Under wgs there was more passion desire and we always looked like we could nick late goals and always did i fear tony has lost the players by coming out in the press etc saying he would like 10 new players in jan etc , how the * does that look to the squad there now ,

No, i don't think we will qualify now and tbh don't really care. For me it's champions league and scottish league that is the priority, Its time now to concentrate on the league and actually getting into the champions league next year. Its hard to watch recently.

I think not but at the same time i've got to think if it's mathematically possible then don't count us out just yet.

Still though, you've got to imagine we had to win our home games and we've threw 2 of them away?

Too many people in our team are just along for the ride, not catching enough yards when they need to most and it's costing us dear against the higher level of oposition.
Still though, Mowbray has done one thing that a few managers before him failed to do and that is win away in Europe so hopefully we can pick up 9 points from the remaining 3 games and scrape through in a photo finish.

I´d like to answer instead of Martin, Hapoel did a great job in second half. for 45min Rapid´s plan worked just fine: 3great chances, 1goal - and we thought we might overpower them in second half. but Hapoel prooved me wrong: they scored 4goals within 15min (56´zo 70´) :87:
amazing, just like they played Celtic in september ......
enormous pressing and very quick on the wings.
some decent technical players they have, one striker -Shektar- I remember especially. a threat any minute.

by now, I consider hsv and Hapoel going through.
but I rather Celtic and Rapid, of course. :50:

This european run is turning into a repeat of Strachans last year.
One disappointment after another, i hope the league form picks up or it will be another repeat of last year too.

    7 to go -
Samaras, McDonald, Naylor, McManus, Caldwell, Killen and Wilson.

7 to go, McGeady, Maloney, McDonald, Naylor, Caldwell, Robson and Killen.

I wouldn't mind McManus, Loovens and Flood leaving either, Celtic should look to the teams like Zenit and Shakthar for some players. I like that Mowbray seems to be targeting the French market because even the players who are 4th string to the French squad have a better ability than most at Celtic Park.

Zenit and Shakhtar are rich and offer their stars excellent wages and speculate bigtime on transfer fees. We couldnt afford a quality player from them plus their leagues are of a much higher quality than the SPL, why would they come here?

I doubt very much that we will qualify, the quality of play and lack of goals recently is pretty shocking to say the least and doesn't exactly fill me with hope.

    Ha.

Obviously we're not going to qualify, in fact, were most likely to come last in the group and *, we might not even win a game.

dont call me pessimistic, im logical

Whilst the elephant is being driven round in ever decreasing concentric circles on a Harley at high speed with the monkey suffering from myopia and being suspended by its sacks over the gaping mouth of a ravanous lion.

Hit the woodwork twice, missed an open goal from five yards, and scored an own goal in the 1st half, then went a goal down in the 2nd half, opened up and were sliced apart by their excellent counter-attacks. Decent 1st half on a par with Hapoel, disastrous 2nd half. Shechter (spelling?) has PL quality, but then our defenders have 5th league quality :87:

Some days it all runs against you, still it was very disappointing to see how the team surrendered after the third goal.

Still reckon we'll manage to beat them in Vienna though.

we won't qualify,i doubt if that team can take at least 1 win in that group.
