we wont spend alot if we dont sell a few
    out for me would be
mark brown - we have better backup in zaluska and cervi
naylor - words are not needed
caldwell - costs us too many goals
    mcmanus - not good enough
wilson - he is backup and caddis is better
flood - waste of money buying him , been *
scott brown - not consistent enough
mizuno - given a chance is pre season done ok i thought but mogga didnt fancy him so he joe the toff
    killen - flop
paul mcgowan - never gonna make it
hutchison - his level is the bottom of the english championship
    kennedy - too injury prone

bring o dea back from reading and have loovens and odea at the back , i would like us to sign graham dorrans ( creative midfielder ) , he has a chance of coming as he was at wba with mogga.
even though i have made my judgement on him for rejecting us in the past , anthony stokes would do a job , his goal against the huns is the exact type of striker we need.
we have been linked with robert koren of wba aswell alot , i think he will come to us.

ok first thing is first, you must think your JK Rowling wae these posts!..make your point without sounding boring. Infact you remind me eh a politician the way your going on, talking alot without actually saying anything, worth remembering, ..hence why I couldnt be * reading the rest eh your laboured drones on how the rest eh us should start being realistic, and goin on about desmond and his shares etc etc..

The fact is that your expectations are a bit too low if you ask me, your saying you'd be SATISFIED wae more loan deals? Plus i'm no gony kid on a know much about stocks and shares etc and nit pick about it just for the sake eh sounding more clever than folk on a forum..

The board have let us all down at vital times,..and i'm concerened because we are knowhere near where we should be..

If that deal was completely done it would be all over the site and would at least have been mentioned at the AGM. I'm not saying that there hasn't been contact made and progress to report, but there's no way it's in the bag as of yet.

    Couldnt agree more,

would also put sameras on the list, think dorrans might be out of our price range the way he has been playing and other english sides im sure will have taken notice in him.
like the look of the polish boy a few people have been banging on about, and i think the korean will come and make an immediate impact, hes a first pick for korea, who came third in the last world cup.

You won't last long here son.

    --

I read in an interview earlier this month that Mowbray is planning to raid southern America for players who have Spanish or Italian passports, to avoid work permit rules.

This would no doubt go alot better than trying to buy in players from England, France, Germany etc as the South American seasons run from different months to our own. I think they'll be just finishing their season around about January? Someone from the States might be able to clarify.

My problem with Southern American players though is that i can't remember us signing anyone from over there who was actually succesful?

Juninho was pretty good, i know alot of Celtic fans hated him but he was a midfielder whom everyone expected to bang in goals when really he was assisting them instead, folk don't look too far into assists though - even though at the end of the day it's as good as a goal, because it caused a goal.

Hopefully he unearths some gems though - the next Ronaldinho would be cracking!

the only problem I'd see with that is how South American players might adapt to life in Scotland, but here's hoping it works out :50:

I'm sure if I had a Spanish or Italian passport I don't think Celtic would be on my radar to all the clubs I know I could chose.

I think the further afield we look, the chances are that we will be buying pot luck. So not a good idea IMO.

We had a few South American players in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Austria</st1:country-region></st1:place> over the years but I cannot remember anyone (with very few exceptions like 2 Uruguayans) who assimilated here. Most of them get homesick and go somewhere south soon. Cold winters and darkness at 4.00 p.m. in some months not very South American.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

As some others have said, I think January isn't the best for buying and selling loads of players (nobody wants to sell succesful players mid season unless they have a good reason). I can see a few fringe players going out and a few going in. Hopefully. But hey maybe we will splash out on keane, pavlyuchenko, Bellamy and I heard David beckham is interested. :50:

pot luck...only if we dont trust our scouting system....or the ability of the management/coaches to recognise a good player

the closer to home we look, the higher players wage demands and transfer fee's for rubbish players.

I'd prefer take a chance on a couple of young lads from Argentina who can develop than sign Paul Hartley,Stephen Pressly, Ben Hutchinson, Adam Virgo, Jarosik,Gravesen (etc, etc, etc) again....

just not another Rafael Scheidt please...

I know when you take the wrapper off they look the same, but eventually everyone finds out how they really are.

Who does everyone blame? The first question is always. Who bought this crap?

No one stops for a minute to think why.

I would prefer we bought 2 mars bars and shared them out, than buy ten aldi bars that all end up in the bin.

I think it time to play

I'm guessing that you're using Mars bars as some sort of metaphor for better class footballers here?

What you have to realise is that the pure breed Mars bar might not want to be eaten by our team.
