Won 2-1 away to OL in the CL Qtr finals and My computer died

This * makes me want to quit i had a * yesterday with parsing errors !!

 

Missed qualifying for knockout stages of the Champions League with Celtic.
Had * Arsenal and Inter in my group, last game, just need a draw with Arsenal to put me through as Inter were in 1st place.
So it's 10 mins to go and Boruc has a goal kick, decides to pass it directly to Eduardo, goal
Then in the 90th minute I scored, causing me to go * mental, then it got called offside

won the CL in my second season with celtic, beating bayern munich, man utd, aston villa and barcelona in the final. hoping to do the same this season.

got a couple of regens that im looking to sign and build for the future

 

Here's one of my best regens on FM10.



I signed him from Norwich for 1.3m, when he was 16. He became the youngest ever EPL scorer, but I nurtured him slowly and didn't play him much at first, because he wasn't that good yet. He quickly earned his first England cap as well.

A season and a half ago he was valued at 10m and Man City offered 40m for him. I thought long and hard, but decided to reject it and in the following season his value soared to what it is now.

 

Gee whizz Slo Bhoy that is up there with the best regens I've ever seen. Absolute beast.

So slightly putting a dampener on my current top regen but here we can see a 10 month progress of a guy I'm trying to get pulling the strings of the team.





As you can see his physical stats are becoming more rounded and more acceptable. Some of his stronger technical and mental attributes are getting higher, but I've yet to see something other than teamwork get higher than 17. I'm hoping for an 18 or even higher soon! He's been playing most of the season so I'm happy with his development. Kind of hoping for even better stats yet though!!

 

my computer crashed on wednesday and when i got it back my games weren't there so i had to start a new game and decided on celtic. Don't know how to post creenshots, so i will tell you how i've done.

Transfers- None in as I set it to no budget in first window, Out let M.Brown go to Southampton, and a few youngsters out on loan.

League

Aberdeen 0-1 Celtic (Maloney)
Celtic 2-0 St. Johnstone (Wilson, Keane) rested a few players as I had a big European game coming up.

Summary- Couldn't ask for a better start by beating what was placed in front of me. Was delighted with the 'fringe' players such as Zaluska, Wilson, Thompson, Rogne, McCourt and McGinn for their showing vs. St. Johnstone, it allowed me to rest a few players ahead of a big game and gave them much needed game time. Next up away to Hibs.

Sparta Prague 2-1 Celtic (Rasmussen)
Celtic 5-0 Sparta Prague (Keane, Rasmussen(2), McGeady(2))

Final Qualifying Round

Celtic 1-0 Arsenal (Keane)
Arsenal 2-1 Celtic A.E.T (Brown)

Summary- Delighted to have negotiated 2 potentially difficult ties. Tough group draw. I was seeded 3rd and have been placed in Group E along side Liverpool, CSKA Moscow and Wolfsburg.

League Cup- Not played a match yet but I have been handed a 3rd round tie at home to Ross County.

 

mmmikey, I'd reduce technical training and push on with physical training whilst he's young, any suitable tutor knocking about your team?

 

Won my 3rd Ligue 1 title in a row.

Put out of the CL at the Qtr. finals by Lyon.

Won the diddy cup again.

Put out of the French cup at the Semi's by OM.

Godcuff had another amazing season, Gignac, Afellay, Plasil and Sakho all had good seasons.

Really tempted to leave as its becoming a bit repetitive, Man U offered me a Job but turned them down. Might take on managing in the WC if a decent job comes along.

 

Tempted to buy Zapata for £22M. Dunno if i should do it.

 

How old is he and whats the alternative options?

 

Started a Celtic game, just coming toward the end of my second season,First up was a decent Assistant, so signed Ezio Sella. Then had the much needed clearout and took a hit finnishing only just in second spot, but second season paid off with mint defence and managed to sneak Adriano and Rafael Sóbis in as my strikers think 7 mil in january 2010 of Adriano and 3.5 mil for Rafael Sóbis in january 2011... won the league toward the end of march which was good and managed a mighty 5-0 against the manky mob with Rafael Sóbis banging in a cheeky 1st half Hattrick with the first coming in 18 seconds!

Typical Lineup right now for me is 4-4-2

*Prob Noticed a couple of ex current buns, I love signing them and then watching them hammer the huns. plus setting boumsong to challenge keepers on corners gives plenty a goals!*

with Celtic you are always gonna be in europe so spread the transfer fees out, offer a couple of hundered thousand, then pay the rest over 48 months, easy players and you make it back no bother, my stadium has just been expanded to 75k and it rakes in over 2 mil a game plus everything else.

Oh Im currently playing OM (2-0 down after home leg) in the Europa quarter finals but will prob go out after smashing Feyenoord 4-1 in holland (agg 5-1) and a good group campaign.

I just equaled Jock Stein 9 in a row record with a 1-0 win over Rangers at Celtic Park.

Played the 2nd half with 10 men too and my super regen strikers were injured so a 33 y/o stepped up and had the ball in the net after 3 minutes. What a player, still!!
