Just playing the demo the now.. is there anyway that you can have the same theme that was used in fm09.. finding the new theme a bit confusing

 

I found it hard to get used to but it will grow on you after a few hours playing

 

Yeah, it was very easy... unfortunately i'm not finding the actual game so easy: Celtic 1 - 2 Celtic Reserves

Finding it hard too, game got a total revamp and the bar along the top instead of the bottom is just awkward

* sake, first 2 league games with Sunderland I get Chelsea away then Liverpool away, drew 0-0 with Chelski but lost 4-0 to Lpool. Nottm Forest next so hopefully a morale boosting 6-0 is on the cards.

Absolutely loving the new interface in the game, it runs real smooth in windowed mode much smoother than FM09 it feels like a different game.

I just started playing it the other night, Danny Fox anyone? his stats are a bit mental are they not? by all acounts a cracking LB. Bit annoyed that I've started the season over my wage budget £275k to spend and currently on £277k...bit frustrating although first thing I did was punt my assistant manager Mark Venus £8 a week BYEEEEE!!!

Only in for one player so far - Roland Juhasz a Hungarian DC stats are frightengly good in the air for a CB seriously check him out and for £775k worth a Brucey gamble.

Anyone got tips on signing forward players for much cheapness other than the two Polish lads that I'm looking at? (you know who they are)

 

In this FM I've been using the loan option much more. Loaning players to fill gaps in the team and save some money on transfer fees and wages. Once or twice I've changed my mind and cancelled a transfer and then loaned the player instead and with most I also have a set fee if I want to sign them at the end of the season. Now in my third season at WBA I think I have about 4 or 5 players on loan (Gosling, Cicinho, Uche etc.)

 

check out Daniel Opare, im playin fm 09 and hes pretty decent on my game and hes only 20 in 2011, dunno what hes like on fm 10 tho.

 

I applied 1.01 patch the first day ( a cracked patch) I got the game, that was just as easy.

 

Yeah, he becomes one of the best right backs in FM09 I think.

His physical attributes on FM10 are great too, but he needs a couple of seasons to become a good option from what I saw.

 

Signed Jimmy Briand for 775k, a great budget striker, is doing well in the SPL, but MAF is keeping him out.

MAF has scored 14 goals in 17 appearances, with 3 assists

 

I find the bigger sides are usually asking for a fee up front for the loan. Some are a bit ridiculous, like Tomkins for West Ham I think they wanted £1.5m up front. Or Dos Santos with Spurs they wanted £2m up front and £5m later on to seal the deal - I only wanted him for a year to play in rotation!

After I broke my * TOE at soccerball last night looks like I might have a bit more spare time for this game. *!

Just remember to use the OFFLINE option when installing.. also read the info text because it explains perfectly how to use it.

Note* There's no 'noCD crack' anywhere AFAIK so you must mount the image each time you want to play. (Just quit the auto install each time)

Anyhoooooo... I need two strong CB's Within a 5-7 mill budget per player.

One cb should be strong with high anticipation and the other should show good tracking back abilities and pace.

Help me out here as my expertise is with midfield/FW

Yes HS i have rusol mate always make him a priority target when i first play but i need two more as i play a back 3 and the current guys are * n slow seeing as i play high pressing football (even vrs the big guns) my offside tac works almost flawless but i give chances away because my current cb's are all sluggish.

I'll scout the other fella mind you cheers for the tip.

I have lol. I played a fair bit on the weekends. It goes quite quickly though. I played a day and a half in total though. I play when I get from work, while I do other stuff at the same time online.
