we dominated possesion today, it was generally one-way traffic towards the huns goal but we had very little penetration. Boruc.........6... at fault for first goal got his angles totally wrong, helpless for second.dealt well with crosses and good save at the end...........................................Wilson.......6...didnt do anything wrong but didnt pose an attacking threat....................Naylor.......7...best performance for 3 years one of our better players..........................Mcmanus...4....pish pish pish pish. the quicker we get rid of this disaster of a player the better..............................................................................................................Loovens....4... also pish today, but at least has more about him than mcmanus.............maloney....5... missed 2 sitters and faded out the game............................................mcgeady...7... always had 2 or 3 players on him when he got the ball, couldve done with more help from wilson. still caused problems and kept working..............................n'guemo...6... steady in possesion but didnt create anything, unlucky to be subbed.......brown.....5.... crap performance didnt do anything should have been subbed. was going to give him a 4 but he gets a bonus mark for halfing novo..........................................ZZ.........7.... good performance in the 1st half but started to fall out the game in the second half. one our best players on the day..........................................................mcdonald...4.. his 1st touch let him down to often in good positions, missed a sitter in the second half. not celtic class...........................................................................samaras....2... absolutely * today....................................................................caddis.......4....done ok tried to push forward but not much time to make an impact......mccourt.....3... tried to do it all himself needs to pass the ball more often, made virtually no impact on the game.mowbary.....6... dont think mcmanus or brown should have started and brown should have been taken off instead of n'guemo. his tactics seemed ok . cant be blamed for individual mistakes

Boruc - 4 , should have done better with both goals , but did well to stop the * novo from getting one

wilson - 2 , would have got higher if not for the shocking dive
loovens - 2 , a dutch giant that was outmusled by kenny miller ...
mcmanus - 4, did not bad to clear a few balls
naylor - 7, suprised me how good he was

maloney - 5, constantly running at defence but to litle effect
brown - 3 , would be lower but he got points for his "tackle" on novo
nguemo - 5, did not bad to win the bal back a few times
mcgeady - 7, scored the goal and constantly looked a threat

zhi - 7, very good start to his celtic carrer , look strong but good with the ball at hos feet

mcdonald - 3 , its embarrisng he's our best striker

sammy- 2 , did he do anything positive?
caddis- 4, did very little but he was playing out of position
mccourt-4, again did very little exsept loes the ball a few times

it may he harsh but its the sad truth

Naylor was probably our best player in the first half although faded a little in the second.

McDonald a muppet? U talk a loada * pal. The guy sucked in every pass all afternoon and had we started with 2 up front like we should've, we might've got more fruit from his labour.

i personally think maloney ahd a better game than mcgeady. to me, mcgeady was rubbish today. without fortune playing mcgeady doesnt get the space that he needs in games cos he always has atleast 2 defenders on him but when fortune plays he goes wide dragging the defenders and creating space for mcgeady. i think our performances will improve when forune is playing again.

also, i thought mccourt did well when he came on he played a few defence splitting passes that none our midfielders usually try.

Naylor was never worst than McManus and Loovens today.

If you read my last post i admitted i got it wrong with naylor you see the game different in the stadium.. i have watched it again on tv and i stick by my criticism of McDonald. The guy has no first touch if u think Scott McDonald is the answer up front you are delusional...
most people on here agree that skippy is pish so get off his nuts and look at the big picture the wee MUPPET isnt good enough!

Can't believe we lost to this bunch of Huns today, I went to the match thinking we'll never get a better chance to whip this lot at Ibrox than we had today, with the hammer -throwers Boughera, Thomson and Mac Culloch missing you surely got to fancy your chances, we missed a fantastic opportunity to go seven point clear.

    Player ratings

    Boruc 6/10
    Wilson 5/10 Loovens 4/10 Mc Manus 4/10 Naylor 4/10

    Mc Geady 6/10 Brown 4/10 N'gueno 6/10 Maloney 4/10

    Zheng 7/10 Mac Donald 5/10

SUBS Gaddis 5/10 Samaras 2/10 Mc Court 4/10

The manger's tactics were poor again, he should have used Robson instead of Brown from the start, even changing them at half time would have worked. Once Samaras and Mc Court joined in I felt our drive went and the Huns started to gain more possession again.:38:

We were actually pretty decent today aside from the centre halves and a lack of quality up front.
i actually reckon wilson had a decent game, shame about his dive. naylor also put in a good shift.
N'guemo doesnt cut the mustard for me, if you actually watch most of his passes they are hardly ever along the deck, the receiver has to bring down a bouncing ball before doing anything else. and defensively his positioning is poor, too many times either nguemo or brown were poorly positioned.
the huns found it far too easy to stop mcgeady; they were well drilled on how to stop him and i felt TM should have switched him and maloney to make them re-adjust.

Zurawski scored just as many winners at ibrox as McDonald and he was pish aswell... we can all pull out games were * players score against bigger teams thats football for you...
Are you telling me you dont think we deserve a better player than Scott McDonald our strikers used to put the fear of * into the Huns trust me they dont fear McDonald...

No he needs another quality striker to be up along him he thrives on decent service and that's something he hasn't had in ages..

Folk seem to forget what he has done in the past (when he had big jan) The bhoy is a good striker and i for one hope he stays.
