dr v you are always saying this player is * or that player is *...this player should be dropped that player should be picked.

Why don't you just tell us what team you want picked plus subs and then we can all rest easy and you can chill out a bit. :icon_mrgreen:

for * sake, typical knee * reaction we can expect when a result doesn't go r way

fair enough the cb's r not plating well, but to throw a young, inexperienced player in just to see what he is like is stupidity

mowbray is working with these players nearly every day of the week, he knows who is fit, in form and is ready to play on sunday!

    Just cant get enough
Last night just proved how crazy the idea of letting Darren O'Dea leave on loan was.
Who the * has heard of a proven first team player signing a new contract then going out on loan on the same day?

no one is saying there better, just that they cant be any worse.

McManus and Caldwell are an absolute nightmare and it was McManus that caused the goal last night, people might have said it was unlucky but when it bouced off the midfielder it was closer to McManus than it was to Fox yet it was Fox who tried to clear it...

id also be happy to see Thompson in the team. he looked solid against benfica of what i saw anyway.

still cant believe Loovens was dropped for Heid....

I am not negative mate, I am a realist . If you and others want to bury your head in the sand like ostriches and pretend everything is rosy in the garden, then go ahead, it is your privilege. But it was that complacent attitude that cost us the league last year to a * poor Hun team. The Chuckle Brothers cost us the league last year, and if Mowbray dozen't show some guts and ditch these numpties pronto, then it will cost us the league this year too.

How many more times do you need to see Caldwell and McManus getting shagged silly by a big centre forward, or wait until they commit the next obligatory howler.

Gunt is right when he says we have a shocking European record so far under Mowbray . 4 defeats and 1 draw and 1 win is shocking. The facts speak for themselves. Even Strachan was better than that.

But be my guest if you want to keep on deluding yourself.

I dunno but I'd like these people to get involved in their local junior club and test out this theory there and let us know how quickly you were put outside the gate.

 We have no idea whether he's got the physical attributes for the job or not.

The attribute of being a big hefty-looking lad is far from the full physical deal for being a great central defender.

Look at some of the great centre-backs of recent years.

    Puyol - 5'10
    Cannavaro - 5'9
    Ayala - 5'9

This whole idea - "Yeh let's stick in this lad - he's only got 10 first team games in his entire career, all in * League One, but he's a big lump. He'll do!" - is such a * quintessential British attitude - it's one of the reasons the standard of football is so * here.

This thread is nuts. Play Josh Thompson!!! Yeah....thats the answer. He is a kid who was playing in the lower leagues in England, joined us for peanuts without too much of a clammer for his signature and now he is the solution! Get a grip...if I was a hun on this site I wud be laughing my smelly balls off!!!
