  1. :31:How many * times does he want to try beat his * man , jesus christ he was * tonight , he needs to learn to beat him and stick a cross in , ffs he just * around on the ball then falls over , or gets the ball stolen cause he wants to beat his man yet again , play the simple * ball , he will never be 10million plus player ,

Maloney is far better at , beat him once and either passes or whips a ball in ,:50:

  2. I think Maloney is the better player too but to be fair, Aidan didnt look match fit tonight. He only just made it and I think it showed. He has played very well this season other than tonight.

  3. McGeady was poor tonight, Maloney was a lot better (although his final ball was frustrating as well) but I'd say over the course of the season so far McGeady has been the better of the two.

  4. yes he was poor and was lucky to be on until the 83rd minute (and why does he always wear a long sleaved shirt then roll up the sleeves to where a normal short sleeved shirt would be lol)

  5. McGeady was quite good tonight imo and suffered alot from fouls which werent given. Maloney was better tonight by far but overall Aiden is the better player imo. Need him on top form on Sunday.

  6. Aye i really rate the lad he has got what it takes , but he needs to cut out the showboating and play it simple , he wants to beat his man atleast 3 times before sticking a ball in , Tony should really be telling him that , we dont get 3points for his skinning a defender 6 times then falling on his * and giving the ball to them ,

  7. Listen McGeady isnt a winger, he dosent cross when he has the chance. Play him behind the strikers like on day 1 against Aberdeen,

  8. mcgeady wasnt even 70% fit tonight, that was obvious. he was a good few yards short to the ball and he couldnt turn well on his bad ankle. unfair to judge him on this game imo

  9. i dont think he's a winger either

put him up front or behind a striker. he needs to play a different position, just not effective at all when he comes against good teams. Even tho he's got the most ability (xcept for McCourt)

    great player tho

  10. wow thats all im saying

  11. Agreed 100%, think with aidan just making it tonight it definitely showed. I also agree maloney was frustrating, on 3 occassions he was clean through and even though 2 of them were offside, he didnt put the ball in the net once which was very disappointing.

What I would also like to add is that more often than not, Aidan has 3 men on him when he receives the ball and that was the case again tonight, what I would like to know is if he is taking these men away he is creating space, where are his teammates who should be utilising this space much more effectively? That is something which really frustrates me.

  12. hes getting no support from his fullback coming forward and creating some space for him to work.

  13. I think you may have hit the nail on the head, Hinkel is great at getting forward and drawing at least one player away from Mcgeady. I'm very surprised that Aiden was risked being that he wasn't 100% fit and we have the scum at the weekend

mcgeady played reasonably well last night but he should have been booked for at least one blatant dive, and as a result cost us a few genuine free kicks. embarrasing

  14. Aiden didn't have his best game for us but to fair Rapid double (and sometimes triple) teamed him the whole game. Agree with some of the comments before that Wilson didn't give him the same support that Hinkle normally does. They both looked a wee bit of the pace.

  15. I don't think either McGeady or Maloney are wingers tbh and it doesn's look like they are playing as wingers this season, they look as tho they are being pushed in a bit and up till now Fox and Hinkel have been given the licence to go further forward! McGeady and Maloney are definately more dangerous when they come in one! I thought there some some neat play between McDonald, Sammy and Maloney last nite playing wee triangles in and around the box and they wer just a bit unlucky with the final pass!

  16. McGeady was good tonight and don't be surprised that Maloney really shone, considering the emphasis on marking McGeady out of the game.

Still, with the double marking he was constantly a thorn and should've forced their team into more bookings for some of the challenges, the ref was poor though.

After 60 minutes or so I'm convinced he was pooped and should've been replaced by McGinn.

  17. Think thats a bit harsh, i think McGeady used to be like that when he first broke into the team but not as much now! He was a circus act at one point and used to be really greedy but I think Strachan taught him a lesson by dropping him for nearly every game in Strachan's first season! He has definately improved alot and is more of a team player and a very important player for us now!

  18. Personally i dont think McGeady would have played if Paddy wasnt ruled out ,McGeady did alright but he was toiling a fair bit and it was obvious he wasnt himself .

I would be surprised if he hasnt done himself more harm by playing last night and he could possibly miss Sundays came through it ,but if thats the case i hope Paddy is fit with McGinn as back up.

  19. Aiden On the right

I think i am the only one on this planet that notices that when aiden plays on the right he is * *!
his tricks dont work he gets pushed off the ball
if we are to win anything this season aiden has to move back to the left. he is diabolical on the right.
