I hope one lesson has been absorbed by all of the players on Sunday, that if you try, try, try and never give up trying until the end, chances are you will get a result.
A big difference from their surrender in Isreal.
Very dissappointed in Brown and Caldwell, wonder what is going on in their heads this season.

Meaning what exactly ,Danni gave her opinion on the match like the rest of the forum has and it was a pretty fair assessment of the game .

So why say " What Danni Says Goes .?.

Not quite sure what peoples problem was with this game. We played well and dominated but at the same time Hearts played well enough to keep it interesing. Lots of good passing, woodwork pummelled a few times, a last minute winner (I thought we had lost that knack!). It was a good SPL game, as were our games v Hibs and Dundee U. I seriously think a whole generation of Cetlic fans who just want 5-0 in every game and dont ever want competition has sprung up. If we have a close game all the knives are out but at the very same time people complain the SPL is too easy. You cant have it both ways

Gunt, I agree, the "we have a right to steamroller all SPL opposition" crew are either unbelievably arrogant or too young to remember the 70s and 80s.

Other teams have a right to be decent. Teams always raise their game against us.

I was happy with Sundays performance, yes there were mistakes, but there was a * of a lot of good play, and to come back from 1 nil down takes a lot of mental toughness, which I was worried we were losing after Tel Aviv.

To dismiss Maloney as gash on the basis of his performance on Sunday is just nonsense.

same old whipping boys - Maloney, Brown, Caldwell, Hinkel. I still think some of out more primitive fans hold Maloneys move to Villa against him and still see Brown as a 'hun' who isnt trying. Honestly, if the same level of close surveillance of the play of favourites like Aidan took place over the last few seasons... How many times did Aidan lose the ball, pass/cross to noonem shoot into row Z, display bad attitude, flop in big games etc over the last few seasons. I know he has been good this season but that doesnt explain his extra cosy treatment from the fans over the last few. I hate that irrational, biased and unbalanced treatment of different players.

Maloney was our best player for the first hour. Then he faded was subbed and McGeady went up a couple of gears.

I just dont like the way posters go about ripping a player to shreds ,ie a couple of weeks ago Maloney was man of the match against Aberdeen he had a great game ,i could go back and post a lot of quotes from some on here saying he is brilliant ,like a new signing ,a breath of fresh air ,now its ,he is * and so on ,its like a character assasanation on here sometimes ,yes if some has an off day by all means get your point across but in a debating kind of manner ,there some posts you just cant answer due to the way it has been posted ie filled with venom and your reply can kick off a barny if you disagree ,its a forum ,talk about it in a reasonable manner.

Ye agree with this, he did fade after the 60 min mark but to be fair on him, he (as far as i can think) is the only midfielder to have played all of our games so far without a break!

I would really love to know what the benchmark that we are failing to meet in so many fans eyes is. There must be a mythical Celtic side who play like Barcelona that I missed over the last 30 years. There is a word for that in Scottish Gaelic (something like ciannos but I cant remember) that means dreaming of a golden time that never actually happened. I think some fans have that bad. OK the real codgers of TC do have the Lions to compare them with but nobody under about 45 has that excuse. I think false memories of samba football under MON doesnt help.

Thats another thing. We ALWAYS play a bit sluggish after a midweek European game. I actually thought that was far better than normal after a Euro game, especially one that wasnt even in Europe! The heat out in that area is just incredible too.

I love to watch an end to end game of football, that satisfies me. If we win, all the better.

it was certainly louder yesterday, althought not in a good way, mostly abuse at any celtic player who made a mistake out of sheer frustration, and rightly so, i was very frustrated with yesterday's performance.

Two things I noticed now I've seen the highlights.....

    1. Big Artur should have saved their goal.

    2. Caldwell was getting blamed for the incident where he had to kick the ball off the line. I actually thought that was Andreas Hinkel's fault. Where the * was he?????

There's been so much talk about defensive liabilities on here the last few days and I've not heard Hinkel's name come up very often. I think some fans should start scrutinising Hinkel's defending with the same intensity they are scrutinising Heid, Loovens and McManus. I think defensively Hinkel's rotten.
