I don't argue that. Have you seen me say anything about Celtic -- except in the last page where I took a dig at him for selling out his own clubs' History?
    There's a reason. It's very debatable.
But in my opinion, Arsenal isn't a big club at all. In the modern era of football, they've only been relevant since they could bring in boatloads of mercenary foreigners. It's really no different than Chelski as far as I'm concerned.
Unlike Chelski, I still like to watch Arsenal from time to time and I would hardly say they're an example of everything ruining football (which I would definitely apply to Chelski and ManSh) -- but it doesn't change that their [very mediocre] success has been bought not earned.

Translation: I can't argue that Arsenal isn't just a mercenary cup team, so I'll get out now while I still can.

The best part of this whole pointless round-in-circles thread is seeing how desperate Gunner fans are to get the approval of Celtic. They all know the cracks are showing. :bbpd:

I wouldn't say most, there's really just 6 of them (well, probably more if you count Italy -- but I like to pretend the mafia league doesn't exist.)

Forget about figures and the rest of it just now mate ,the feeling here is that if Celtic where invited into the EPL [which wont happen in my lifetime] could we hack it ,my thoughts are they would but after a settling period of maybe 2-3 seasons and with a lot of money at our backs they would be up there challenging ,Celtic are geared up for a better league than the one we are playing in but thats how it is .

Celtic are a massive club and playing on a even keel with the likes of Arsenal ,Man Utd ,and the Liverpools of this world the would be a force to be reckoned with thats for sure ,but who is the biggest team ,you can break this down into 2 catergories ,Money and Fans ,Arsenal have more riches than Celtic a blind man could see that ,Fans that is Celtic ,there following all over the world is incredible ,and if the day ever happened that Celtic got that invite to the EPL ,they would have to knock parkhead down and build a Stadium twice as big as it is now ,and i think there still would be a queue for tickets ,thats how big Celtic are mate ,,all the best to you guys in your own domestic league and cups .:50:

If you were here for a debate you wouldn't have ran away from my post that took your question seriously. Sorry mate, but you threw any shred of sincerity you had when you quoted just 1 sentence and ignored everything else.

And now I see you're wiping all your posts clean too !!! :56:
Would love to see what forum you are all whinging about me at. It'd be great craic.

lol! So I should apologize for having an opinion that doesn't agree perfectly with the infallibility of Wenger.
You ran away before I even showed my opinion. I highlighted perfectly legitimate holes in the argument you presented me -- and instead of responding to those, you pick out 1 sentence. It wasn't until I responded to that that you turned tail and deleted your post.

It doesn't matter who you want a debate with or how "balanced" (!!) the person is, you are going to have to address those issues in your theory.

You said results in your opionon from 50 years ago were * so then you said:

Well Celtic was 43 years ago so you said your self that these results are * therefore Celtic is * right or are Red Star Belgrade, Steua Buchrest, Fyenyoord, and Porto all bigger clubs that Celtic? One trophy doesn't make you a big club bud.... complete lunancy.

One trophy doesn't make you a big club bud complete lunancy. What is Celtic home grown squad anyway based on the team they put out against Arsenal in the CL?

Fortune, McDonald, McGeady, Samaras, Brown, Boruc, Donati, N'guemo, Hinkel, Fox, Loovens, Caldwell

All played in the CL tie with Arsenal and all are either Foreigners or received their youth training elsewhere so what home grown squad are you talking about?

You know what keep your memories of past glory (if you were even old enough in the 60's to remember and based on your debating skills i would say your 17) and keep your results in the two team third rate SPL I'll be happy with constant results in Europe and recent success in the EPL a sold out stadium and millions of fans for my club.

Big in your own mind... All Glory is fleeting and Celtic is after ran now sad but true might get to the odd round of 16 but until you do something of relavance against multiple top clubs your just a big fish in a small pond. A case of little man syndrome is all you have up against big bad side all you can do is try to take shots but ignore your own down falls.
