    It's good that we'll hopefully have a settled team for the qualifiers but some clubs won't sell in January so I still hope we have some summer targets lined up as well.

    If a £7m budget is true it would be an exciting window. It would be great to see us actually preparing for the Champions League early. I always thought we'd spend a decent amount before the other mob come back up as well, maybe that could be on Lawells mind?

    He is getting the £7m which is the normal summer budget the now mate! He wants everyone in and settled.

    I still expect us to approach Pantic aswell as the interest in EFE from China is concrete and the Chinese window is open to the 26th February and if we get Svitachenko and Pantic then that would allow us to let Blackett and possibly EFE go if the Chinese follow up in their enquiry heard £2.75m for EFE pmsl

    If we want a ready made replacement for Bitton if he goes, then look no further than Benjamin Andre at Rennes. He was bought as a LM but has been moulded into a DM/CM.

    Bit like Ledley in a way. Could get him for £2m.

    No but he got it before in order to build the nucleus of his squad. How much did Deila actually get in his first window? Majority of his signings were loans. Then a million or so on the two United boys.

    He hasn't been backed like the majority of managers have been. Especially after seeing £13m come from Van Dijk in the summer.

    I know there hasn't been CL football and that will come into consideration but in order to try and get there it's clear he needs some funds. £7m still isn't enough, IMO, but it would do.

    Somebody on another forum saying that the sun are going with Mohammed Elyounassi are our top target. Better be true. Think if we got him and either Mocinic or Ajer we have had our best transfer window in years.

    Really hope so mate. After my months of suggesting Sviatchenko coming true. Also suggested Bitton a good couple of months before we signed him when I watched him at the under 21 euros and that happened and has worked out well.
