And three years ago Jamie Vardy was banging them in in the conference and now he's doing it in the Premier League so would be worth Celtics interest to keep an eye on him if Championship clubs are sniffing around him.

They are the biggest games this boy has ever played in . Play offs , Edinbugh derbies. I think 7 goals in 9 games against the huns is a good stat for a prospective Celtic striker.

He's decent, I'll give him that but I don't think he's what we need.

You do know the dead club are dead right and this tribute act are * *, right?

    He isn't what we need.

We need to make the * CL, players scoring against second division teams is not what we need.

We need * quality. We have enough benchwarmers for a club our size.

So i take it Liam Henderson is not what we need either as he has struggled against those * huns and has been bang average in that second division .

    Exactly.

Henderson is one for the future, as might this guy be.

We need * quality. EL quality who just might get us through the CL qualifiers.

Makes me laugh when people want more projects brought in, all the while demanding our project manager is given the bullet.

Cummings might well go on to become a good player but we need right here right now quality.

Cummings is doing in the second division what Adam Rooney is doing in the top division... do we want him as well?

Fair enough . Do you not think it would be in our interests getting Cummings on the books based on the potential he has shown and the fact he is 20 years old? Maybe loan him out. Burnley supposedly offering 500k , for that type of money you can't go wrong .

With the * poor transfer fees we pay i would rather put the half mill to someone who might improve us right away.

When you consider that Leicester paid 1.4million for Vardy and Mahrez combined then no you can't go wrong. Known Celtic's luck they'd pass up on him and he'd go to someone like Burnley or Brighten and tear * up and be out of the clubs price range in three years time.

Just because Leicester payed that for them is no guarantee he is going to turn out the same.

We payed 650k for Larsson and 1.5m for Bangura

350k for Moravcik and 5m for Scheidt.

We need quality right now, proven quality. We probably wont get it but that is what we need.

How far have we fallen that this is a possible signing that people want?

Back in the day sure, as a youngster coming in as back up.

We have * all money though, and people want to squander some on another project.

    Come on to *?

He's 20 not 16 . Played plenty of first team football and could come in and score goals for us now imo. If you don't rate him fair enough but from what i have seen of him he has alot of very good attributes.

So has adam Ronney, so did Ciftci.

Is this lad really what we need for the CL qualifiers?

Correct me if I'm wrong but you want Ronny hunted for being out of his depth yet the guy has won titles in Norway and Scotland and took Celtic to the last 32 of the EL, narrowly missing out on the last 16 by the finest of margins.

what makes you think this guy coming from an inferior league is going to improve us?

Listen , i am just judging the lad on what i have seen him do on the football pitch . I think he will be a top top striker. He has pace , very clever movement , trickery and is a lethal finisher . I believe he could score goals for us in CL qualifiers. I haven't rated a player from Scotland this highly in a long time . I never rated Ciftci and think Adam Rooney is a talented player but not for us . I think Cummings is already better.
