Genuinely think that's a great shout Keano, and I think he'd come, more medals, and a great chance to become a Celtic Legend. The big guy is the goal machine we need :50:

Yip, but I mean that it would be a backward step for him....Austria Vienna are possibly a better team than us, who have CL football and play in a more competitive league

Some goalkeepers, all freebies, international keepers. I reckon we need a good experienced keeper.

Omer Damari, still only 24 and in great form this season, 13 goals in 16 games.

53 goals in 109 games overall for Hapoel Tel Aviv, the team he moved to in summer 2011 when he was heavily linked with us.

Think we've missed the boat on Finbo now unfortunately...

Was actually going to suggest Toivonen the other day but decided it was a bit unrealistic as there is teams like Liverpool hovering around him and he's hitting that age where he'll probably be looking to test himself at a higher level... His contract with PSV runs out in the summer, so someone could pick him up for a real bargain in January...

Wouldn't mind seeing Ross McCormack here though and I'd say he's a pretty realistic signing for us at the moment...

Another I'd be looking at is Ivan Santini... Suggested him on here a couple of seasons ago when he was at Croatian side Zadar but Freiburg eventually picked him up... Didnt really hit the ground running there but has been given a fresh start at Kortrijk and is now the leading scorer in Belgium... Hes a big physical striker who could get on the end of some of Izzy's and Lustig's lovely balls into the box. Hes also decent with the ball at his feet and has good movement.

Would love Philipp Hosiner here, like a few have said, but a cheaper option could be Philipp Zulechner from Grodig. Hes top scorer in the Austrian Bundesliga at the moment. Looks like exactly the sort of striker we need from the clips I've seen... Just tuned into Graz v Grodig to watch him a bit closer...

Just watched Graz v Grodig. Finished 2-2. Really enjoyed the tempo both teams played at. After watching the Celtic game earlier, it was nice to watch a game where the fans were allowed to sing their songs (they didn't stop all game!)

Anyway back on topic... not the best game to judge Philipp Zulechner as he didn't get the best of service and was subbed off after 72 mins. Was impressed with his attitude though- he chased every ball down and his movement and link up play at times was decent too. Seemed like the "poacher" type, who likes to peel off of the back of defenders.

Should definetly keep our eyes on him... He has a 15 goals (none of them penalties) and 2 assists this season. Works out that he gets a goal or an assist approximately every 70 mins. Not a bad stat at all, especially when you consider he was playing in the first division last season.

SPFL/English lower league strikers who know where the net is and wouldn't cost a great deal!

Billy McKay, 24 years old - 15 goals in 18 games this season, 45 goals in 87 games overall with Inverness.

Stevie May, 21 years old - 12 goals in 22 games this season, 60 goals in 109 games in his short career already.

Britt Assombalonga, 21 years old - 15 goals in 26 games this season, 47 goals in 98 games in career throughout lower divisions in England. Proving another great find by Peterborough.

Nahki Wells, 23 years old - 15 goals in 18 games this season, 53 goals in 109 games with Bradford City in 2 and a half seasons.

Patrick Bamford, 20 years old - 14 goals in 24 games this season, on loan at MK Dons from Chelsea, capped by England U21 after form so far this year. Second loan spell with MK Dons. Overall total, 18 goals in 38 games.
