    dont think we could match his wages, even with a paycut he would be expecting around 50k a week, if we could get him on loan with a percentage of wages 30% maybe, he would still be a top earner and back in europe!

    would love him here but

    Non starter. Ok he would probably take a wage cut, but what is his idea of a wage cut? Dropping from 170-200k a week to 80k a week most likely.

    I seen this on Facebook earlier and immediately thought I would like it to happen but just another one of those rumours we get year after year that never end up happening.

    Think Mr Lawell felt they were * us about during the negotiation process, trying to squeeze more and more money out of us for him. I also remember that one of the main reasons was that we didn't want to have a 30% sell on clause put on his contract.

    I'd like us to go back in for him.

    Ah yeah I forgot about all that nonsense. Has he not only been with his new team for a year or so? It would be expensive to sign him now.

    I have just seen Jorge Molina come on for Betis and score a very good goal. I think we should perhaps go back in for him.

    Molina could cost 3-5M. Good player but again could be a bit like Miku and may find it hard to adapt to life in Scotland.

    Undoubtedly a very good player, but his idea of a pay cut is from 150k to 75k. Not from 150k to 25-30k which is the maximum we can afford.
