He panics too much and launches it, never really plays well here. He'll be off soon enough, we have better in his position (Robinson).

Hardly the comanding centre half i was Hoping for but I do think he is a decent player which would be within our budget
He's also still at a good age and with training along side agger skertl and carragher will have learned
So if we could get him at a good price wouldnt be disappointed

Let's * sign someone already ! We only brought FF and I would really like a CB and a ST before the window shuts. And I don't want to wait until the last day like when we were trying to sign Leon Best, it didn't work out and we simply ran out of time to find anyone else.

Same, but if we're talking young Scottish centre-halves, I'd take Grant Hanley over him. Wouldn't mind seeing either at Celtic Park. Another good young CB I wouldn't say no to is Craig Gunning at Dundee Utd.

However, I think we should be prioritising a more experienced CB. We have good young guys in that position already (Rogne, Fraser, Toshney).

    No sweat.

You might think that Skybet, being vaguely affiliated to Sky, would be some kinda serious heavyweight bookie. But they're not. Their odds blow with the wind. Couple of people weigh in with a four-figure bet on Charlie Adam to Celtic, Skybet will slash their odds right down to cover their arses.

Even the genuine heavyweights like Laddies are very sensitive to sudden money on transfers, cos they're paranoid that someone with a mate knows something they don't.

But just like on forums, most of the folk who think they're in the know are actually not, even if they have got a couple of grand available for mug punting... :50:

Any player that shines in the Championship or Premiership Leagues are good players and would bring additional talent and raise the standards, but Mr Adams(with all his baggage, as previously mentioned by others) would not suit our type of play...he would slow it down to his pace.....IMO not the type of player we need.:bbpd:

A good solid CH is Gary Monks of Swansea...Laudrup has brought in new players and Monks would be available...would suit our game...anyone else seen him?

£200,000 - future French internationalist. Maybe similar in style to Thierry Henry?

What about Kenwyne Jones seems to be no future at Stoke and no clubs interested in him?

Danny Wilson is *. Theres several better players we could have than him like Gavin Gunning, Paul Hanlon we could even have kept O'Dea.

Anyone else think McDonald Mariga Wanyama would be a good buy? Would only cost us about £6M because he's only a bench warmer at Inter and is loaned out just now.

Sounds alot of money for a club like celtic but I think we'd be guarenteed to get at least our money back. Plus he's tried to get a move to the Premiership twice but both times the transfers collapsed because to visa issues. I think he'd be willing to move to Celtic to try and get a move the the EPL.. plus Victors here so we would settle well.

Wages might be an issue mind.. not sure how much he would be on.

Wages, bet he's on the best part of 50-60k a week, he'll be more than happy to warm they're bench for that amount

I would've thought he was on about £35k-£40k, he'd need to accept a wage cut.

Long shot but would love it.

If we signed Mariga, we'd be blowing our budget to strengthen what is already (IMO) our strongest area. No point.

Would love to sign him just think he wouldn't drop his wage demands but if stoke don't want him could be worth a loan chance to get some of his wage off there bill
