Yea he obviously doesnt because the players he has signed (not rumored to be interested in) have all been * havnt they? :bbpd:

He has a great record in the transfer market. He doesnt tell the rag who he is going to sign. The only players he has said he is after are big Fraser and the Norwegian lad. Both of which are quality.

Curtis Davies would be £ 2.5/3m strong as * centre back pace power and goal threat.

Anyone can make up a story and link a team to a player. How does that mean Lenny doesn't have a clue? It's not him that's making up a new story every day, is it? Dont talk pish.

When he played at Aston Villa he was less than impressive,, I haven't seen him recently but unless he has improved tremendously I wouldn't spend a million on him let alone 3.

This will probably be met with indignation for obvious reasons but what about a punt at Carlos Cuellar? Free agent, good player. Wages and convincing him to join (ex Rangers, and offers from Spain or e.g. EPL teams) could be a problem so he'd need some persuading; and he's perhaps a bit injury prone but he knows the game up here, what's expected at Celtic and Rangers and the carrot of a potential run in the Champions League is there. Might be met with split opinion amongst the fans but I personally wouldn't have any complaints.

Is this him? 21 years old and has a very impressive scoring record for Dortmund II.

Boyd looked very strong, reasonably mobile, certainly ripped webster and caldwell apart, although i think i could to be honest the way they were playing that night.

On a more serious note i was impressed by him though.

I thats the one just looked him up not sure wether dortmund view him as a prospect or not but a move with more first team football would certainly help his international chances

certainly seems like a good player. He's only 21 too.
Does anyone know what the story is with Dortmund II though? I assume if we wanted to buy Boyd we'd have to submit a bit to Borussia Dortmund and not Dortmund II.

I want Boyd nowhere near Celtic. From what I've seen of him he's a good athlete but he has no technical ability. Watt is as good athletically but much better technically.

I think dortmund are looking to release him tbh. It would be in the best interest of everyone as hes not going to get playing time ahead of lewandowski and barrios and dortmund believe that the german striker who is a year below him in their academy is a better player so they are trying to clear his path towards the first team. For all those using his record at Dortmund II as an argument for signing him remember that they are in the fourth tier of german football. He's a decent young prospect but i'd rather have watt who is 3 years younger and looks like he could develop into an awesome striker.

Seriously? can't believe a top class striker like him would waste the prime of his career in china.

If I was him I'd rather be playing in the CL and the Bundesliga rather than in China earning megabucks. I'd imagine he's already on 3 million a year.
