    Been reading about Milans El Shaarawy possibly going out on loan and a club mentioned was Kolne.

    We should go in for him. We're a bigger club and a bigger team, they're sitting 9th in the league. He'd get to play with Podolski there but the rest of their team isn't as great.

    I would like to see us sign Johnny Russell in the summer.
    If we sign a big target man in this window (say Salihi) we would have great options upfront.

    I would love to see a creative midfielder and a centre half signed. I always liked Alejandro Dominguez, but very unlikely we could get near him. One of my mates that works in Holland was talking about a guy called Otman Bakkal, saying hes a player. think hes on loan at Feyenoord and plays behind the front 2. dont know too much more though. At CB I would like to see a Boulharouz type player brought in.

    Read an article on Bakkal last month. His contract's up in the summer but Feyenoord seem pretty confident he'll sign a permanent deal with them so wouldn't fancy our chances.

    Boulharouz would be great though.

    Douglas Teixeira's contract expires with twente in the summer i think... Doubt he'd come to us but its worth a cheeky attempt at trying to sign him on a precontract!

    Sebastian Prödl, Khalid Boulahrouz and Mathias Jørgensen are on free contracts. although the latter has done his cruciate ligament and won't be back at full training until this time next year, i'd still take him on a freebie.

    anyone of those would vastly improve our defence.

    didnt realise boulharouz was on a free when I mentioned him. Reckon he ticks all our boxes; experienced, hard as nails, no slouch and a leader. Prodl is a decent shout as well mate, hes pretty big and imposing. Fingers crossed we get an experienced CB this time round, would help greatly for (hopefully) Champions League next season
