Here this is a long shot right but here me out. Alot of people or going on about Sol Bamba, Would Chris Samba be out our reach?

I mean he is at blackburn playing at a team who are destined to finish mid-table. I don't think the transfer fee would be too high and he him self i don't think would be on much wages. Considering they also have nelson givet n'zonzi .

Probably plenty of prem teams would be after him, but you never know until you make a bid or make contact. I think Allardyce really values him tho. But they are strapped for cash i think.

 

. Just a world class left back that appears to be within our reach. Plus he can play at centre half . Lennon has to know about him as he said he watched juarez in person against England for Mexico and I think Salcido was motm in that game.

 

He was class in WC 06 as well. I liked Mexico back then for some reason and he stood out. Got his move after the tourney.

 

i was watching part of the groningen v ajax game today and was really impressed by groningens striker tim matavz he scored a goal every 2 games last year in the dutch league and hes still only 21 dusan tadic their 21 yr old left winger also looks like he could walk into our current team and el hamdaoui looks like a great singing for ajax we really should have been after him apparently they paid between 3-4 million pounds for him which is a steal for someone of his ability

 

Kasper schmeichal or however you spell it. Watched him against derby on Saturday and some of the saves he pulled off were different class. Not seen much of him since he was at Falkirk on loan, was great one on ones and at one point made 2 point blank saves one after th other. Reminded me of his dad with his wide stance when saving th ball haha.

 

Keiron Westwood at Coventry City for a goalkeeper. Still young, but would improve and is better than Zaluska.
Gallas on a free would be an excellent signing, however, i'm sure his wages are too high. So i would consider Bamba at Blackburn, Marc Wilson at Portsmouth, Andre Bahia at Feyenoord. These are realistic targets for Celtic.
I feel we still need a striker and left back, however, time will tell whether milan misun can establish himself at left back and if Gary Hooper can ascert himself in the SPL and score the goals.

 

With hooper looking like he's injured aswell and being really sadly realistic would mind Maynard aswell from the Championship non promoted team and still finished top scorer can't be bad thing right?, with sale of mcgeady ever so close i would * love Bamba here more complete version of Bobo and him and Rogne or Hooiveld could strike up something fierce i reckon, for LB i just don't know anymore i really don't some one is out there some were maybe even just go real defensive at the back and get in a pacy CB who's not to bulky and slow and stick out on the left and just get him to play in defensive and not worry about attacking so much other then maybe for the odd corner or something
