Couldnt agree more mate. Its pure bullshit. Its one thing discussing ACTUAL transfer rumours on website/newpapers etc... but discussing stories about friends of a friends who would love to play for the club is completely stupid. :38:

    Benoit Assou-Ekotto

spurs full back mainly in and out in that team had a standard finish to last season so considering he is in and out, he would probably walk straight into the lb spot here and get cl footie, stumbling block? wages maybe.

not really a transfer rumour just wanting to know what people might of thought of something which i feel is attainable

Theres a player suggestion section at the top of the section mate. No need for individual gossiping

I think we should go for Andy Murray.

Mark my words, he will be the first black player to win gold at Wimbledon - and the first Albanian of any nationality to do so.

Plus my dog's budgie saw him coming out of Ross Hall hospital. FACT.

Mate, is that the same Andy Murray that putted the winning touchdown in the Champions League final at Aintree? I didnt know he was available, thought the Dumblane State Warriors were trying to offer him a new 3month contract. Could happen, heard his cousin wore a green jumper once, get him in! :56:

    TG's Summer shopping list

Left back - Asier Del Horno
    Age - 28
    Height - 6'0
Club - cash strapped Valencia (been on loan to Athletico Bilbao)

    Central Midfield - Michael Johnson
    Age - 21
    Height - 6'0
    Club - Man City

    Naka replacement - Yassine Chikhaoui
    Age - 22
    Height - 6'2.5"
    Club - FC Zurich

    Striker - Felipe Caicedo
    Age - 20
    Height - 6'1"
    Club - Man City

    Striker - Tibor Tisza
    Age - 24
    Height - 5'9"
Club - Ujpest FC (Willie McStay's new team)

With the exception of Tisza, these guys are all six foot or taller, which would bring much needed height to our squad. To get all of them (presuming they would come) we'd need to sell to raise funds, so goodbye to Mark Brown, Scott Brown, Donati, Killen, Flood, Naylor, Kennedy & McManus

Scott Arfield, obviously will need a couple more seasons before he is Celtic class but this boy has talent and exactly the kind of player Mowbrays likes can see him being a future Celtic player. Probably the most technically gifted Scottish youngster about at the minute. all round good midfield, good passing vision etc. So if things dont work out with crosas then...

Lee Wallace at left back also surely gonna get capped for Scotland soon, always been highly rated and living up to it the past season, cheap, good experience, young and scottish and a lot of potential right up our street.

But hey its a matter of getting good youngsters on cheap wages who have a knowledge of the Scottish game and good experience for the age. Or punting on older foreigners who arent interested as much half the time and could flop in our game.

That Tisza fella looks to be alright, and can't be that expensive can he?

and why on earth would you want to get rid of Scott Brown?

Why would we sell Scott Brown to raise funds for that fat waster Michael Johnston ?
