    Man shot outside police station in gangland hit

    A MAN was shot outside a police station in a suspected gangland hit last night.

    Detectives had to tape of the streets around their own office after the incident in Renfrew.

    The victim, thought to be in his 40s, was blasted on the town's Inchinnan Road at around 7.50pm.

    He was rushed by ambulance to Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital where his injuries were said not to be life-threatening.

    A shopkeeper close to where the shooting happened said: "The first I knew something was going on was when the police started swarming out of the station and sealing off the area.

    "I've been told it was a local gangster who has been shot in the leg.
    "It's got to be a bit embarrassing for police because it happened literally right outside the station.

    "When the sun comes out, this place just seems to go mental."

    A police spokeswoman said: "We are investigating an incident."
    The Scottish Ambulance Service said a man was taken to hospital after they were called by police.


    :56::56: this should be under the sign saying welcome to renfrew, shot outside a cop shop.... crazy stuff the town has gone mad the past few weeks.

    One of my cousins stay at the flats outside that police station. He told me about this 2 days ago, i remember not long ago some polish threw another polish guy out the window, after he shot him :97: Its flippin nuts where he stays, i dont get it though theres a police station right across the road? :97:

    he slit his throat then launched him through the window 4 stories up, and believe it or not that happend right at the back of the cop shop! the guy was young was only 21 or something.
