I don't think he is coming now, he is a legend down there and can't see him turning his back on that.

    I with you there....

I for one do not want to see any of the supposed "targets" in the papers and press to be manager.

Coyle & Mowbray would be front runners in the press but I don't think they have the experience nor the ability to attract the right players.
McGhee is *...no much better than Strachan...( but I have a bad feeling it will be since the board will see McGhee as easier to control and manipulate like they did with Strachan).
    McCarthy & O'Leary - don't make me laugh

I dont think we'll get Coyle, as a player he was desperate to play for Celtic and no doubt he's the same as a manager BUT, if I was him and i'd do anything to work at Celtic then I would even consider it a lot as it would also be great to have a go at the Premiership. If it was next year he'd definetly come if asked or if he'd already had a season in the Premiership but he wont want to let down all the Burnley fans who're extatic at getting promotion.

    Owen Coyle

just watched Owen Coyle on Sky sports . He was very diplomatic when asked in front of all the Burnley fans if he was leaving for celtic. HE said it was a hypothetical question and importantly never said No. I,ll stick my neck out right here now and say that if he was offered he would come. Personally think he would be a good choice. What you think?:50:

Would be great if we got him. Main thing though is that whoever comes in will have some money to spend.

Yeah I thought he completely dodged the question to be honest. I was thinking that he looked like he wanted to come. When he finished as he turned away he did not look impressed by that comment imagine asking a die hard Celtic fan "you would rather be here(in Burnley) than at Celtic".

Yeah he totally didn't answer the question, I think if he is asked he will come after seeing that. If he wasn't coming he would have said that he would have rather been there!

yeah he didn't answer cos' he would have got booed if he told the truth. I didn't think he would come but after watching that I think he sent a clear message to the Celtic board, "If you want me, come and get me".

No doubt he would come after that answer.
