    No way..that * dived and cost us that cup final not Bobo!He wasnt near the stupid little *..to this day i will never forget the image of him sitting crying head in his hands down the tunnel..was sickening and always felt for the big man. Dont like what he is doing to us now though. Just leave big man..please.

    Wonder y!bcos he has a better eye for talent & potenial and better judgement of a player...bobo,valgaeren,agathe,lennon,sutton,hartson, thompson...compared to naylor,sno,graveson,donati,killen,m.brown, samaras...need i say more!?. but do agree with hunskelper that mcmanus is consistan...consistently * :56::31:

    look folks the way I see it is that Strachan clearly was given the task of changing the wage structure we had in place and Balde was a casualty of that. No side in Scotland now, including ourselves, can afford the kind of wages that were being handed out in the O'Neill era. That had to change. Hence us trying to move on Balde.

    I don't find myself * off at Bobo for continuing to take money from a contract he was offered, I don't remember protracted contract talks before he signed the current contract which indicates that him and his agent weren't being cutthroat and demanding more than was being offered.

    Nor can I be * off at Strachan for trying to carry out the task he was clearly asked to carry out. Which was bring in players that we can afford financially.

    how does that make you a "yes man"

    it was and still is necessary, 30k wages would see us in the same boat as them over there in 5 years

    We have to play the long game now, young talent is the way forward, established superstars will leave us with a debt we can't handle

    Money is more important to him and he doesnt seem to care what the fans think.

    No doubt he'll come out and have a rant against the club because they wouldnt pay him off after he agreed to leave on a free transfer

    you are speculating on what a guy who has never showed anything but loyalty to the club will do after he leaves

    if he was given his chance back in the side or we had a horrific run of injuries you wouldn't be slating him, you'd be applauding him running out his contract

    henrik stayed and fulfilled his contract and was adored, Balde does the same and he gets turned into some kind of pantomime villain only in it for the payday!

    Exactly. Money is all that is important to him from a stance of professionalism. We have been over this time and time again - did he do anything wrong by staying? Technically no. Did he merely adhere to his contract, given to him in the first place? Yes.

    Is he still a * disgrace for being a FOOTBALLER who willingly stayed somewhere full in the knowledge he would not play FOOTBALL?

    Undoubtedly yes. Celtic made the guy, and he leaves on exceptionally bad terms because of one man. That man is Bobo Balde.
