CLEAROUT

  1.
  2.
But what's the point in keeping paying their wages if they arent good enough. I we lose them at what we paid for them then its not a problem. Even if we lose a bit I'd rather not have them.

  3. Of the 7 you referred to I think we got our moneys worth from Brown (backup), Samaras (cheap), JVoH (crucial goals), Robson (last years title).

Doumbe suffered with injury, Donati was a high-profile flop although at the time of the risk who was complaining? A former wonderkid from AC Milan I would sign any day of the week. And the less said about Naylor the better.

  4. I'd be looking to shift:
    M. BROWN
NAYLOR worth £8M according to some:56:i'd happily settle for £7M.
    McMANUS
BALDE i'd let him go but still would have picked him before Loovens(who may still come good) or McManus.
    FLOOD
    DONATI
    NAKAMURA
    SAMARAS
    VoH

i would definitely keep McGeady. Robson too, what did he ever do wrong?

  5. Loovens has been fantastic the last few games.

  6. He's done well certainly, don't know if i'd say fantastic though.

  7. A lot better than McManus anyway. Put it this way im not waiting for him to "come good" as you put it

  8. A decent manager would get the best out of McGeady - no way i'd punt him.

For me a clearout would consist of

    Naylor - not good enough
    McManus - not good enough
Hartley - past his best days
Brown (Mark) - not good enough
Naka - past his best days
JVoH - past his best days
    Samaras - not good enough
Maloney - if he can't stay off the treatment table
Wilson - if he can't stay off the treatment table
Doumbe - if he can't stay off the treatment table
McDonald - never looks like capturing the form he has when he first came
    McCourt - why?
Mizuno - If he's not going to get the chance, why bother?
Huchison - If he's not going to get the chance, why bother?
    Balde - He's off anyway
Donati - unless a new manager can get the best out of him

  9. first off all every player has his price.but there is alot off rubbish at parkhead we need to clear out.first off all our squad is far too big, espically when wgs only plays his favourites.for the life off me how has paddy mc court not been given the chance, considering certain players get picked with injurys and loss of form.

    players out:
    mark brown
    doumbe
    mark wilson(injurys)
    naylor
    balde
    kennedy(injurys)
    donati
    hartley
naka(he is gonna leave, played recently like his heart isnt there)
    maloney(too injury prone)
    killen
    jvh

probley save around 150k a week in wages.although we'd be lucky to get 5 millon for them.

id give flood and samaras one more season.but both would be no more than back up.
a few off our younger players to go out on loan and gain experience.

    we'd need:
    left back
    def midfield
    playmaker
    2 strikers

5 players with a decent wage budget for them.

  10. We'd need some rent-a-team company to help us, as you would clear the whole squad!

  11. every single one of them barring heid, brown and hinkel

  12. U clearly didnt read my posts and understand what I was getting at:31:

  13. Half of them hardly play anyway.

  14. I did read your posts your point was it didnt make sense for Celtic to buy lots of players only to have to sell most of them after only a season or two.

My point is that we need to buy cheap players, and with these unproven players comes a greater risk, if they arent good enough we should sell them no matter how long they have been here. This applys to people like Samaras, Flood etc.

If I've misunderstood you I dont know where?

  15. Mark Brown, Doumbe, Donati, Vennegoor and Killen should all be going in my opinion. We know Balde and Nakamura are leaving.

Questions marks over Mark Wilson and John Kennedy, too. Good players, but made of glass and we can't carry them forever if they're only going to be good for half the season.

I'd look into another 20-a-season striker, another left back and a replacement for Nakamura. I think if we get that we're sorted.

  16. Pretty much everyone starting with Strachan.

McGeady will come good with good coaching, his shooting needs working on bhoy.

Keep Caldwell, Loovens, O'Dea, Hinkle, Crosas, Broon, McGeady, McCourt & Mizuno.

The rest can all go with my thanks, even Skippy.

The curse of the Number 7 jersey got to him methinks, too big a jersey for him to fill.

  17. He's scored 50 goals in 2 years. That is a cracking record.

  18. mate u have no idea what you are talking about!! mcgeady and robson are the the only 2 players that drive celtic forward, they look to get forward at every opportunity!! i can understand your p'd off with mcgeady being inconsistent, but robson is a lion in every game!! they're the best of a bad bunch quite frankly.

  19. Scott Brown?

As for Aiden it's all well and good driving forward but what about tracking back, what about passing and what about shooting? Why drive forward to just run the ball out of play?
