I have been putting off posting this for a couple of days because I get half way through andf I"m too * off to finish

Why does WGS think that Caldwel is a midfielder and that Flood (who has hardly featured in the hoops since jan) should be thrown in to one of our hardest fixtures from now to ther end of the season.

We actually started to play better when he put on the players everyone else but him would have picked before the match , crosas and naka made a big differance when they came on and should have started instead of these stupid changes and he only seems to do it in big games. He is obsessed with what the other team has and changes our team and style to suit them. His team lineups baffle the life out of me and its so irritating to watch him mess the team about before a big game . He done it in the cup final and nearly cost us and now he has done at the weekend and cost us 2 points !!

I blame Boruc's * positioning for the free kick tbh.

Agree with you man ! Flood shouldnt have got thrown into a wee huns away game. And caldwell should be played at centre back where he plys best. I think Koki mizuno isnt strong enough for these kind of hard games too.

The team that was put out was good enough to beat hearts, the players on the pitch have to take responsibility for not playing to the standards we know they are capable of (and expect of them).

Rubbish. You need to anticipate what the opposition will do when preparing tactics and act accordingly in order to nullify their strengths and amplify yours.

If Strachan's players go out on the day and simply fail to perform, what exactly can Strachan do about that?

Hearts defended well and I thought we were unlucky not to win.

We lost 2 points? I was under the impression you get a point for drawing, not lose 2.

Agreed. We seemed tame in the 1st half.

Its the 2nd toughest game of the season (hearts away). 1 point there is a good result.

It was very disappointing we didn't get the win at the end. Mizuno really had a great chance from that late corner and Nakamura come very close just before that. To be fair to Celtic I thought we actually defended very well as after the early goal the jr huns were getting at us for pretty much the whole first half. Credit where credit is due it took a moment of brilliance from that free kick for them to make all that pressure pay off although like others I felt Boruc could have read that better.
In the second half clearly the changes Strachan made turned the game in our favour and we gained the upper hand and almost won it late on.
I don't agree with not starting Crosas but I don't think Strachan bungled that game and in fact I think he made the right adjustments in the second half and obviously at half time which gave us a chance to win the game.

Strachan tried to do the right thing in tactics! He put caldwell in midfield as crosas did not have the physical presence to match hearts in that area and he had a more than able center back waiting in the wings in the shape of glen loovens ( i like him :icon_mrgreen:). Willo Flood isnt exactly a tank but he has alot more pace than naka from what i have seen but i think he over-estimated hearts in many respects.

Speaking of Crosas, I have to point out that when he came on he was absolutely horrid. He nearly set Hearts up with a dodgy backpass and wasted a good attacking move by blasting over the bar from miles out.

Agreed. If u look at the the fixture list at start of season, a point at Tynecastle in second half of season is not a bad result. Why do some people think we have a * given right to win every game every season.
Anyone here think huns won`t drop any more points before season is out??

I was annoyed by WGS's post-match interview, but that was mainly because he's used that "oh I thought it was a great game, I don't know why you're complaining" line too many times this season. However I also think that a lot of the doom & gloom that has weighed us down this season can be alleviated by looking at things a bit more positively. As much as I hate the *, Hearts are one of the better teams in the SPL. We had a penalty not given and conceded a cracking freekick. It's easy to look at Boruc and say "why didn't he stand to more to the left?", but I've played in goals and if you do that it's just as easy for them to whip it in to the other corner. It wasn't a goalkeeping error it was a good freekick, simple as.

What annoyed me about the performance was how late we left it to apply the sort of pressure we should be applying for most of the match. We shouldn't be waiting ill 85 mins to go "oh *, we're not winning" - I think last season spoilt us in that regard because of all the late winners we got.

If we draw at Ibrox we won't have "lost 2 points".

Hearts despise celtic ,thats fact ,there players grow 3 inches taller in these games and will give there all to stop celtic .

Any nuetral watching on saturday probaly thought that hearts were the better team ,in long periods they where but they where hanging on for the last 10 mins ,you could argue to why naka never started but that game would have passed him bye ,but when hearts wernt as much a threat naka nearly turned the game round for celtic ,yes celtic dropped 2 points but when hearts play like that i would say celtic won a point .
