Hi - Thomas, aged 27, based in North Liverpool, about 20mins walk from Goodison Park.

Grew up an Evertonian and watched us home/away/abroad between 15-21 years old, but maybe because of my Irish Catholic heritage/socialist irish republican politics, I always did have a soft spot for Celtic which got stronger as I matured due to its history,traditions,fans and players especially since watching Alan Thompson slot that free kick in the Kop End Plus Henrik Larrson was always a player i liked watching as a kid.

I ended up going out for a time with a Glaswegian girl and getting to know more and more Celtic fans so started taking a more serious interest in the club, trying to combine my love for both clubs and all things Green & White / Everton.

Being at Paradise for our 3rd title in a row in 2014 and dancing around with all the fans as we picked up the League Championship ranks as one of my best days at the football and hopefully more of that awaits me as I follow us home and abroad.

I'm currently studying History & Irish Studies at Liverpool University and plan on being a History teacher when i graduate - hopefully i can teach in a school in Glasgow :icon_mrgreen:

I did that course for a year back when it started then in the second year got the chance to carry it on in Limerick and just never went back.

Yeah I think the Packie Bonner are still going and there is also another club I think :Liverpool Emerald 313 ( guy that runs our bus has a few contacts with them.)

Dublin Celt here. I’ve been a browser a good while & decided to finally sign up.
First post.

First game was Oct 95. 2-0 v Aberdeen. Wee McLaughlin & big Pierre with the goals. From the late 90’s to the end of Gordans reign I would get over about 5/6 times a year. Unfortunately I don’t get to as many since the Lennon era. Life, work & family just gets in the way a bit at the moment. Watch & read as much as I can. Managed a few crackers even with limited travelling though.
The Utd 1-0 game was great. Roy Keanes goal v Falkirk was another. And I was there for one of Henriks hat tricks. Livingston, early in 03/04 season I think?
Last game was Dec last year when the McNeill statue was unveiled, 2-1 loss to Motherwell. Possibly the worst I’ve ever seen the hoops play.
Feel a fresh enthusiasm & excitement since Brendan was announced.
