I like it moist or at least with plenty butter icing
I'm partial to a bit of Gateaux but very rarely these days, trying to eat as clean as possible. But when we're talking about birthday parties and stuff like that I usually try to avoid.

One of the great and very much misunderstood cakes,needs to be taken with Alcohol though
Not a massive eater of cake although I have been known to nibble a few morsels. Also aesthetically pleasing. As Wurzel says, "I do likes a slice of cake."
Carrot cake from Costco is a gift from the Gods.

Ahhh cake and all things sweet & sticky, love them all BUT I'm not allowed to eat a single one, no sugar, no carbs
Diabetes is a *' * trust me, jaggin' insulin 3 times daily like i'm a pin cusion, lets add to that the diabetes has now given me chronic kidney disease and I now need a transplant....so no potassium to add to that list of joy, banned...tomatoes, peanuts, crisps, bananas, mushrooms, all potatoes must be pre-washed and steeped...ohh it's *' great.
BTW Diabetes also makes you rant like * over daft things....just sayin'

Wee bit of lemon cake now and again , soft spot for snowballs and empire biscuits tho … lipsmackin .
i love a good chocolate cake,
just chocolate, non of this fruit or sprinkles pish, just chocolate, with a chocolate fondant, or a chocolate cream.... basically, any cake that is broon.
ok, i'll take a wee bit of crushed nuts on top, but that's as far as i'll go.
Used to be you couldn't eat it and have it.
