Because of what kind of transfers WE NEED, I am a little underwhelmed by this signing.

Nonetheless, free transfer! Welcome Lhad :shamrock:

Two year deal shows we have a lot of faith in the guy.

Interesting to see what the plan is for him.

At 19 he could be making an impact now. Couple years ahead of Oko-Flex who signed in a similar deal.

    I thought 2 year's sounded slightly strange..

3 year's and maybe an option for a fourth is much more like it..

Big boy or looks really strong for his age. What height is he roughly?

The kinda signing for the development we should be making. Could easily see him being on the first team bench and getting minute's this season..

Doesn't work like that but ideally you'd want quite a few in the academy who you'd have no problem as third choice or that if called upon..

    Mullen

    Coffey
    Welsh
    Deas
    Church

    Connell
    McInroy
    Henderson

    Dembele
    Afolabi
    Okoflex

Isn't many in that that I'd have worries about in most of our run of the mill domestic game's at all..

    Robertson and Aitchison as well..

    Excellent player in my opinion..

Can mix it like Broony definitely physical and get's in about it but with a quality left foot. Technically ahead of Broony at an early age..

Honestly saw him getting a shot or should've quite a while back as he's a leader as well. Scores rocket's, bit box to box..

Got a bad injury and been out ages. No sure how far away he is..

I deffo think he could play in our midfield..

Aye hes looked interesting anytime I've watched them which granted isnt often.

Never realised he got a bad one but with us needing someone like that in the midfield it wouldnt do any harm to give him a go...or even a mcgregor type loan.

I think we are guilty of not loaning our young players out quick enough.

Just checked there and he done his cruciate ligaments in May. No sure how long that takes to come back from..

I completely agree on taking too long to loan some of these boy's out. A Motherwell for 6 month's or so would be a decent move for him, or an English league one move as you say..

Still only 18....so loads of time for him but I genuinely think he has a major chance with us and could come in now and again already..

Is Coffey being lined up as a rb? Or is it more he can't get in the midfield

I put him right back to keep Ralston out to be fair :giggle1:

Played right back for the youth's a bit but played the Glasgow cup final at center mid and was really impressive. Then was in Austria with the first team getting minute's at centre mid before going away with Ireland..

Deffo a midfielder. Was highly rated when we got him and seems to be showing out a bit more recently/tail end of last of what he's about..
