    Who would you want to stay between the 2 if there was only the option of keeping one of them this summer on permanent contracts - NOT loan deal as in Denayer's case

    Right now, Virgil, but there's not much in it. When Denayer is Virgil's age he will be streets ahead of him.

    Thinking that myself and if we buy him in the summer i will be delighted.
    Would be good if we could have both but since i only gave it as 1 choice then i will stick with Denayer.

    Not bad stats for defenders for us.

    Denayer is a better defender, virgil is a much better player though.

    I would pick Denayer as maybe a player with more potential. It would be a bit of a risk as I believe at the moment VVD is the better player.

    Denayer, never saw a kid so good at reading a situation.
    His goal tally is exceptional. Also a way better tackler.
    Van Dijk is comfortable in SPL football, might be wrong, but I can't see him cutting it in EPL.

    Extremely tough decision. We're incredibly blessed to have the two of them. Both fantastic players with great potential but if I absolutely had to choose I'd go for Denayer. I honestly believe he's good enough to go on and play for any club in the world. His reading of the game and timing of the tackle is exceptional. The one slight negative for me is that he's maybe a few inches short for a commanding centre half, but hey, try telling Carles Puyol or Fabio Cannavaro that!

    This. He also has a better attitude than Virgil. Virgil may or may not fulfill his potential; Denayer will, if he can stay healthy.

    Denayer, simply because his potential and tbh I think van dijk is overrated and will be pretty average in the EPL up against far better strikers. Great in the SPL but up against the likes of costa every week he won't be able to just boss players of the ball and will struggle IMO.
