Looks like he's injured in which case he shouldn't be playing, if he's not injured then his start to the season is worrying.

 

He's a player that takes a bit to get going. You'll see Tuesday. He'll be a * machine again.

 

Hope he rubs it in my face but feel this will be his last season as an automatic starter.

 

Said that to my mate the other day after the Athens game. He won’t last forever, and he’s showing signs of slowing down.

Will be a * sad day when he isn’t driving us. If he’s carrying a knock he should be telling Brendan he doesn’t want to play.

 

You notice it when teams counter and he’s having to chase back.

He’s still good driving with the ball but chasing back you can see him showing his age.

 

If he is carrying a knock he definitely should not be playing.

He tried that in Deila's last season and he was hopeless.

 

Defo mate, said the same thing the other day.

We are a shambles to be honest when he’s out the team. Brendan’s first season it seemed like every single player in the squad would run through a brick wall for him.

 

I don’t think it’s fair to say he’s slowing down after a few games at the start of the season.

The frustrating thing about Brown is how reliant on him, and how reliant on him we have been for years. It’s all well and good having a player who makes a big difference to the team, but with Brown it’s quite drastic, and obviously we don’t really have anyone who can come in and take some of the pressure of him by playing a similar role. It’s been the case for years too. Not to flog a dead horse, but McGinn might’ve helped on that front.

Maybe us not getting John McGinn - who I wasn't keen on myself - is looking a bit foolish now...

We are playing an injured scott brown because of our inability to bring in a replacement for armstrong. If we where making that many changes yesterday why not rest him. He's not having any impact on the games anyway.
