Watched that there, funny style of play about him to me, looks like a player form the 80s or something always trying unpredictable stuff also looks fast as * but has some nice wee touches.

    He's got a few admirers I think.

    Probably beyond us.

We should be raiding the Croatian market. Soudani, Pjaca, Coric.

The first two could be gettable, at least.

Darder would be an incredible signing. €12m though. Are you trying to give Lawwell a heart-attack? :smiley-laughing002:

The only chance of Darder coming here would be if someone bought him as a player for the future and then loaned him to us for a season.

Considering he's just knocked back Inter Milan I don't see him coming here. Word is that he's remaining at Malaga for the time being unless a really good offer comes in that both club and player deem acceptable (which really means an offer that the player find acceptable. The * who runs Malaga has previous for accepting basically any offer that comes in for our players).

I'm not saying this is the case here but lets imagine that Darder guy is a huge Celtic fan, gets in contact and says I'm dying to play in hoops...do you think Pete would sign him for 12 mil ?

    Something I've often thought about

What's €12m? About £10m? He'd get that back and then some, so if the wages weren't silly, he'd be daft not to. Very unlikely that that situation's going to arise though.

Maybe if it were someone like Coleman (if he's a Tim). That'd be interesting.

    John McGinn

I like this boy. Reminds me a bit of a young Scott Brown.

McGinn, who came through the club's youth ranks, is now out of contract. If he leaves St Mirren, the Paisley club would be due about £270,000 in compensation.

At 270k isn't exactly bursting the bank.

    Anybody?????

You've never heard of John McGinn? The boy must be close to double figures for appearances against us.

Got my hopes up when I seen this thread cause I thought we'd signed him :56: I've always liked him and I think we could do with some cover in that position, but I would be afraid that he'd waste away on the bench.

He's also suing St Mirren after that * Steven Thompson injured him throwing a training pole at him.
