    You know what is sad is you probably couldn't even get "big names" with £30mill.

    But for funsies I'd be demanding a new GK, CAM and RB then maybe a LB with the rest to help rotate that position and then allow Miller to push Sinclair for the LM/LW spot

    By big names I mean like * we’ve heard of, like Allen, Sturridge or the like. Should have probably used “exciting names” as opposed to up and coming talents that we usually go for.

    Personally Roberts, and a £6m+ CB would be my first priorities.

    Premiership England is ruining it for pricing. 30 million would sign us some decent players. Maybe 5 or 6. But would be more likely players I've never heard of.

    We need to get away from the scattergun buy 15 players at £2M and hope 4 are good and 1 can be sold for big bucks later.
    I would go for 4 big ticket players only that will definitely improve the team.

    £10M on creative midfielder - someone composed, plays with the head up and can find a pass aka Paul McStay.
    Milan Badelj at Fiorentina could be great, in the shadow of Modric for Croatia but an excellent player.
    You also see midfield players in Spains so called lesser teams that would still be superb for us.

    £5M each on 2x centre halves - a robust Paul Elliot type plus a sweeper/ball player like VVD
    Go for the best Scandinavian and best Serbian/Eastern European you can get for 5M each.

    £10M on quality striker (assuming Dembele leaves) someone who can hold the ball up, has great movement and can finish like Cadete or of course Henrik
    Aspas from Celta Vigo would be great.

    Another gold mine is taking a risk on highly talented players who have lost their way aka Sinclair, Sutton, etc
    How about Wilf Bony?:fear:
