I think injuries and Brendan trying to work out what he’d inherited from the summer window was a lot to do with it. Not 1 player of our summer signings started today, that’s quite telling for me.

Is there better footage of Shankland's elbow on Kyogo?

The footage I've seen don't fully capture it, but it doesn't good. Was there a VAR review on it?

So there has to be 2 players between the offensive player and the goal for it to be ruled onside... if I'm reading this correctly ? Sorry if this seems a stupid question from a man of.my age after watching football for nearly 56 years... yes usually the goalie is In goal and a defender in play... but what if goalie was up for a corner ?????

Really hope Shankland shatters both his legs before the Euros. Dunno if I'll be able to support Scotland if that wee melted coupon hun * is on the plane.

What a really top performance that was. The 3 points was what mattered most but we got a really terrific performance as well which can only boost the confidence in the team. The diets as we knew they would got right after it and in fairness in the first 20 minutes they matched us and the only difference was we were clinical in front of goal they were not but after that wonder pass from O'Riley to set up Kyogo for the second we never looked back and in the end really it was Clark in their goal that kept the score to only 3. Really good appearance from Maeda off the bench too. He was all over their right back after he came on.

Killie are reverting to grass, season after next..

Talks have taken place to ban artificial surfaces already, with a vote expected before end of the season.

Aye mate, people often don't think about the keeper in these scenarios, my mate I was watching it with couldn't grasp it either..

    Has to be two defenders..

Today has been a great day all round. Ta ta Livingstone, welcome back Dundee United and us pumping Hearts in the game I thought would be the most troublesome of our remaining 4. Hearts seem play against us like their lives depend on taking points from us.

I don't think it's particularly telling in any kind of revelation way, we all knew no-one had been signed that had been an unmistakable improvement... It was very CONFIRMATORY that we'd not succeeded in bringing in anyone to develop into the role, or who had the necessary kahuna's to be relied on in a dogfight.

We got lucky this year, in a way we didn't during the COVID season, and we're gonna get over the line huffing and puffing, when we should be miles out of sight... 10iar year and this NEED to be seen for the warning signs they are... We're not so far out we're comfortable to take our foot of the accelerator at any stage!

That's a thoroughly stupid rule... So, it benefits their keeper to come flying out, away from the goal, and leave only a defender behind?

It's always been the case though.. it's just rare that the GK isn't the deepest defender..

Does it matter which half it's in or does it only apply in the defenders half?? Seen footage of the Cliftonville Irish cup win over Linfield (* yassss!!) today in extra time - Cliftonvilles 2nd goal in injury time. Seems as if keeper was last defender with a striker being him, when he tackles Cliftonville man and the ball breaks forward, leaving the Cliftonville striker Hale to run the length of the pitch and score.

Can’t be offside in your own half yep. And in opposition half 2 players have to play you onside :50:

I do know that rule but I often forget it as it's rarely that important.I still think Kyogo is on, he times it perfectly walking back as the keeper does.
