He seemed to be enjoying himself today. Was gesturing to the crowd at corners to raise the atmosphere.

Not sure I've ever seen him do that. Great to see.

 

His shooting was wild, I think that's where he'll be disappointed.

 

Wasn't as wild as last week. Good sign for next week.

 

Need to get him off free kicks. Basically hit 2 rugby conversions the past couple weeks. Nowhere near

 

Did he take a free kick today? Thought it was a shot he blazed over for the 3 points.

He took a free kick. Obviously better at them than what we saw, but they've not been great.

 

Aye he did, wasn't quite as bad as last weeks effort but still awful

I'm backing him to score.

Kyogo is due a goal against the huns. As is McGregor and Taylor.

I'd back O'Riley to score as well. And Maeda.

 

What about Jamesy Forrest, surely he’s due one against them too !! Ha

 

CCV and Scales haven't scored from a corner in a while. And Johnston hasn't scored one of his scrappy goals in a bit, too.

Perfect game for Hart to open his account for the season...

 

Any penalties and imo he must take it. Hart need redemption.

BTW thought it was a fluke at first but that little bit of skill in box in 1st half for Kyogo shot was something else.

 

Thought he had a poor game on Saturday.. I expected much much more from him..

Also I know he's laid back etc, but he didn't look invested in the emotion of the goals, don't think he congratulated O'Riley? Maybe I'm wrong.. but there needs to be some passion.

Edit: Just seen Rodgers said this about him..

My message at 2-1 was just to keep the ball and manage the game," Rodgers explained. "That's why Reo came off. He's a big talent but he gives it away too much for my liking.
"As a midfielder you have to control the game. You have to show love for the ball and take care of it. It was too loose and sloppy. The game became more tense than it should have been.
"We missed a penalty to make it 3-1 and that's a game that could have ended up 5-1 or 6-1. That's the downside but if you win a game against Rangers the upsides are much greater."

Love Reo, but I remember him being very loose at the start of the season too and this cost him his place in the side. When he's on it, he's amazing but you wonder if Rodgers will punt him in the summer.

 

In the warm up pre-game he was last one to go back up the tunnel. Stayed behind when the others went up the tunnel practicing his passing.

Thought it was a good sign before the game but wondering if he's just not feeling confident or carrying a niggle.

He's a superb player on his day but was really off it Saturday.

 

He always does that I noticed, I never noticed or watched this season but before he would always warm up with like an Individual coach and run about mental on his own looking exhausted and then stay out last.

When I first seen him doing it I thought he was an injury doubt and being "tested" to see if he really is fit but then seen he just does that every game lol
