Funny how you felt the need to reply to that. Enjoy your night mate.

The legacy? Quite bluntly he is the one that started normalising trebles.

Pre-Rodgers, a double would have been considered an exceptional season.

For what it’s worth, I thought we were far more competitive in the CL this season compared to last. Atletico away was the only game we were truly out of.

Just providing an honest reply as ever @murphy88

Main difference I noticed today was how aggressive we were, Taylor you could tell was out to dominate every high ball and beat him man to it and get above him. Everyone was switched on to pick up the loose balls, defending the corners as well and set pieces, they had a lot but can only mind them getting on the end of about 1.

Most of the season we've been quite soft and one paced but everyone stepped up a level here.

Honestly, is that it? Really, the trebles where extremely enjoyable but which team was within touching distance of ours over that period, in even a single criteria? The standard of our competition normalised trebles. As a club we've went backwards the last 10+ years in real terms.

    Post-war:
Stein has a legacy - he changed European football
O'Neill has a legacy - he turned the tide

That's it for me. I wouldn't put what Rodgers has achieved, so far, ahead of Strachan or Lennon in all seriousness. I'd have Ange well ahead too, in terms of the context of what he achieved given the circumstances and competition.

Rodgers first season last time round has been his most impressive as he turned something round and played good football.

The bolded mate - I’m sorry but that’s a shocking take all in. I can’t really respond to someone diminishing an invincible treble.

The type of thing I hear from that mob

You don't think in European terms we've went backwards? You think we are in the same position that O'Neill turned round and then built upon?

You are the one who's elevating it to Legacy not me. I've just responded. Which bits not accurate?

Real aggressive and had an idea what to do with a corner and a throw in.

We were quick to throw the ball back into play like we did under Ange. I loved that a man would run front post to ensure the corner would beat the first man.

I loved how in their faces we were. The pressing at times looked decent.

Need the same and more next weekend.

There's just something about him the now in his interviews, it's like he's getting caught up in the madness of a title race and letting go of any reluctance to put his cards on the table.

He's totally all-in here and has zero doubts about his team going on to win this double. And he's got every right to savour it, considering the wall of negativity he faced coning into the job.

I hope he starts calling they * 'Sevco' and giving journos absolute peltrs when we get these two trophies in the bag. Mibby even a wee rattle of a jaw or two. In about it Brendan son.

Since the game at the piggery he’s been ultra confident. Been dealt a shot hand with the summer window. None of those players, aye not one, started today!!! That’s very telling indeed.

A quick peek on their forum has confirmed his words post match have utterly rattled them. They are livid, but they know they can’t do much about it, and all it does is ramp up the pressure on the team as the fans are frothing at the mouth. Rodgers comments were once again perfectly timed. He knows the pressure they’re under and he’s played this perfectly again. Much like his recent comments , so far so good. He’s backed himself and played it perfectly.

Issue is why haven't we been like that more often. Weird.

Think after winning that ball back you could see him get a lift. Getting better and fitter.

7 goals away from matching Ange’s total first season. No bad for side to side boring * to watch.
