I know it’s a while off yet but I happen to be in Glasgow for the Scottish cup final but obviously wouldn’t get a ticket. Where would people say is the best place to watch the final? Best atmosphere and have good TVs, sound etc?

The Brazen Head, or Murphy's in Merchant City is usually good craic. Some of them might be ticketed due to it being a cup final though, so best to get in touch with the pub in advance.

Yes mate it’s actually bigger than most think from the outside it’s basically part of the merchant square. Screens all over when you walk through and up the back etc decent pint , bit more pricier than the others surrounding it but imo it’s the best round about there tbf.

    Gallaghers on Howard Street.

Banging on match days & the night before. Always have good live music (rebel stuff), good guiness & good people. I've been going there when I come up, for 15 years now (used to be known as Kellys & was under the railway bridge).

Gracies is good but very busy on match weekends. You might well find yourself queuing up outside for an hour just to get in. Then another half hour to get served.

Bar 67 on the Gallowgate is great if you can get in, so are many of the pubs down the gallowgate but again if you can get in.

Brazen Head is a must but while the match is on it gets busy. Brilliant before the game though. (Leave your glasses on the table as some locals collect the glasses).

Cheers for that mate, I think I’ve been in Kelly’s. If it’s the same place, down at the back of the St Enoch Centre.
