    There will be a rake of big clubs in for him which will create a bidding war so we can expect top £ when the time comes, we have to scour Europe for a replacement asap....

    No doubt, that isn't to say Napoli are gash but they're not in the top tier of European teams. If Edouard keeps his form up for the rest of the season then the big boys should really be taking notice. Especially given Dembele's success.

    CELTIC striker, Odsonne Edouard has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month for August. The Frenchman picked up the first award of the 2019/20 season in recognition of his valuable input to Celtic’s 100 per cent start to the league campaign.

    During the month of August, the goal-getter sat out the 3-1 win over Hearts, but scored in both of Celtic’s other league outings, as the Hoops found the net in fine style in each game with a 7-0 Flag Day win over St Johnstone followed by a 5-2 defeat of Motherwell at Fir Park.

    Edouard then got September off to a flier by scoring the opener in the 2-0 derby day win over Rangers at Ibrox and he has also found the net against Sarajevo, CFR Cluj and AIK in Europe as well as scoring four goals in two French Under-21 appearances during the international break.

    Talking £40m. Anything else would be daft on our part.

    Hopefully here at least till next summer so we have time to find a replacement. We should have a scout permanently based in France as well. Well, France & Belgium.
