    As supporters I think resale value shouldn't be our concern, we need ready made players to help us seal 10 IAR. Let the board focus on the numbers, we have plenty cash in reserve!

    We also have players with plenty of re sale value on the pitch. Ajer, mcgregor, Forrest, Edouard, Rogic could all be sold for £15m+

    The fact that it's went all quiet about our interest in him tells me we've seen someone else and are trying to get them in instead. Cifuentes, hopefully.

    I would have liked him, but I won't be gutted if we don't sign him.

    There was 5 and a half weeks between our 1st and last bid for John McGinn.

    From signing the Huddersfield and Brentford Captain for just over £5m reportedly last week missed out on both and seem to have signed a Dudu duhan special as covering RB even though I do believe he is the 4th CB we needed

    That's possible but as the leaked transfer list suggests to make contact with the agent, these things are normally sounded out before official bids are placed.

    Again if our valuation and the club's valuation are too far apart and/or the player doesn't want to come to Scotland then we need to move on to our next targets quicker.

    If we are genuinely interested in Cifuentes why are we only registering interest with his club and not placing a bid?

    I’d prefer Sawyers over Cifuentes probably. Cifuentes could take months to settle, I think Sawyers would hit the ground running. * it, sign both!

    Find it strange that we had a bid rejected for him and there's been no follow up. Our opening bid was 1.5 million so there was plenty scope for an improved bid. I'd understand if we offered something like 4 million and that was knocked back
