I mentioned this earlier. This feels very similar! Just can't believe it. I'm that sickend I'd love to kick his * teeth down his throat. He's a first class * now in my book and has betrayed us massively with this *. The * has been on my mind all day and to make matters worse, I couldn't think straight working and while on the digger where I'm building a large garage, I wrecked the bottom corner by hitting it because I've been bconstantly thinking about this *. Them * threw a carrot in front of him by offering him millions and he took it. Scum of the earth he is now! He may hope we win this league because if them * across the city sneak it, there'll be people wanting his blood! This is Celtic football club he's just walked out on, not some mediocre club where it'll be forgot about in a few weeks!

He's leaving Celtic - a club he claims he loved since he was a boy and a place where he was genuinely on the cusp of achieving legendary status - to move to Leicester City. Leicester sacked their manager less than a year after he helped them achieve a miracle.

I feel like he's a bit of a con-man. What genuine Celtic fan would walk out on the club at such a crucial time to move to a mid-table side in England? If Leicester really wanted him, they'd have been willing to wait. They're not going down, they'd have been fine.

This smacks of a man who couldn't wait to get out. I don't blame him entirely, but the timing of it all is really *. It would have been crap if he'd left at the end of the season, but at least it would have been a smoother transition. * him, snake.

 

Haven’t posted in a while but this has pulled me back alright. I’m genuinely shocked- it’s the speed at which it’s happened that’s scunnered me the most. It’s all came out of the blue; the fact it’s unflolded so quickly though is quite clearly evidence that he’s been thinking about this a bit longer than 2-3 days.

Let’s be honest (I’ve realised I was kidding myself on) but it always had a less than authentic feel to it. His words were vacuous and seemed disingenuous.

He is an egotistical guy - many managers are. His European record with us was stinking and that is partially down to his tactics and stubbornness. It’s for that reason I reckon he knows he’s taken us as far as he can and if he continued with such a poor record then any chance at managing in a top league again would be gone.

 

If the * up at work cost you any money then bill that * down in * Leicester. He will be forgotten when Lenny takes us to the 10

 

I have to disagree with this. Mostly because of the reasons you highlighted in your own last paragraph.

There’s different degrees of Celtic fan, and Brendan is a pretty reluctant fan imo. Someone who has a soft spot for us rather than a ‘fan’ in the sense that you and I are fans. He’s not going to a club with a bigger history or fan base, but he is going to one with vastly more resources and a much better competitive environment. It’s * timing, but I really don’t think the board are to blame at all. Rodgers wanted to go because he wanted a new challenge.

 

No wonder we've been rank this year when come to think of it...he's had one eye on an exit for a while I think.

Lenny should get us back as a unit for the time being.

I'll bet you he has Lustig back in at full back tomorrow night ..he'll start with the dependable players he knows.
