As far as im concerned the * board should follow rogers out the door * sickened by these * on the board as they have no ambition for the club at european level if they had rogers would be still there .

Hopefully in terms of the Cups, the mentality has been installed in group of players. But, aye never felt more confident at Hampden under any other Celtic manager, literally a home from home.

    Alot of people advocating clarke.

No doubt hes a great manager but something tells me the preasurre would be too much for him.

You're right he's the safe option for now. won't be a permanent appointment though. I also think he might not even want the permanent job.

Would be disappointed if it was clarke or lennon permanently, would love it to be Marco Rose but don't think we have a chance there, maybe David Wagner?

Celtic chief executive has spoken to the media out after pictures showed Brendan Rodgers being shown around Leicester’s King Power Stadium this afternoon.

Speaking outside Celtic Park, Lawwell said: “He hasn’t left Celtic yet - we’re still waiting to hear back from Leicester.

“Brendan’s down there at the moment, I think they’ve got a few things to sort out.

“So there’s not really much I can say now, other than we’re waiting to hear back.”

When asked about the possibility of Neil Lennon replacing Rodgers, Lawwell said: “He’s the name in the frame and we’re looking at a number of options.

“Neil would certainly be a strong candidate. But there’s not much more I can say.

“We’re waiting to hear from Leicester and once we have that, we’ll probably put a statement out.

“We’ve spoken to Neil, yeah, and another couple of candidates but we’ll wait and see.

“So if you don’t mind, can I leave it at that? Thanks guys.”

Short term fine but I would be disappointed if he were the manager at the start of next season. Surely we can attract better and more progressive managers from the continent.

So for next year how crazy would it be to try and get tommy wright? I think he’s an exceptional manager but I realize going from st Johnstone to Celtic is a huge jump

Martinez would be a disaster. Moyes would be too.

I don't have a clue who I'd like, at the moment.

Marco Rose should be the number one target in the summer. Give him top whack. That is what we should be looking to do , make a * statement of intent. Please not Lenny.

Would progressive managers from the continent work with our team with a spine of mental Scottish Celtic fans. Lennon may just inspire more in them. Its risky, is this a time for risks or just get the 10 and last 16 a few times instead.

Why do people think we are getting another big name manager? Before BR the board shafted us with the cheap option Deila and the reason BR has left is because of the boards stingyness and unwillingness to back him. After John McGinn I've thought BR has had one foot out the door. Make sense that Lennon orchestrated his exit from Hibs a while ago knowing BR would be gone
