Do You Think We Will Qualify?

Due to crippling superstition I can't do Celtic predictions, so no idea why I'm posting on this thread

 

Focus game at a time.

There were folks in the CL thread planning our playoff game against Malmo before even kicking a ball against AEK!

I feel it’s gonna be one of those muggy games against Rosenberg again

Can we? Yes. Will we? * knows. If we keep up that standard (a big if TBH) we will beat Rosenborg and give Salzberg a real good game. If...

Even that might not be enough.

 

We’ve seen how easily defensive errors are punished in Europe. We need the back four to be right on their game.

 

You can get 11/4 on Salzburg to win at home, that is dodgy as * to me. Bookies expecting them to lie down.

That aside, if they did play fair I think we would qualify but it's far from certain. The most likely results would lead to us going through (we beat Rosenberg and win at home to Salzburg, Salzburg beat Leipzig at home) but if just one of those results flips then we are out, or if two of them go to draws we are out.

 

I think we’ll win our next two games but it won’t be enough. Salzburg will bend over for Leipzig unfortunately.

We should be looking at having the advantage of Salzburg still needing a result against Leipzig, then hopefully we play them when they are already guaranteed top spot.

Plus we have them at home while Leipzig have them away....however, UEFA in their divine * wisdom, deemed it ok for 2 teams with the same owners to be in the same group, so that’s what’s going to * us.

 

After we beat Rosenborg and matching or bettering whatever Leipzig do to Rosenborg we just need to beat Salzburg 2-0 at home and we are through as our head to head will be same but our away goals will be better and our goal difference too

 

I was surprised Leipzig opened as short as 5-4 for their next game ( which is roughly the price they went of against us.) I think I am right in saying that when the draw was made Leipzig were the fav's for this group. Been generous it looks like the bookies just haven't reacted to the Salzburg win in Leipzig. Draw will do me.
