there's no point increasing the capacity, wouldn't like to see the main stand
being built flush with the other stands either.
i love celtic park as it is, old and new. if any changes were to be made i would
do something with the main entrance.

I'd have loved it if we went oval. The square shape of our stadium is a bit *.

Looks a bit worn out, wish we'd paint the iron girders holding the stadium up.

Eh ? What are you on about ?

I don't remember the last time the stadium was filled. There is absolutely no way it should be bigger.

I would rather the money to be spent on making this a real issue. Improving the product on show and filling the empty seats as often as possible would be number one priority. If this is fulfilled then the next on the agenda would be trying to be playing in Europe in March. Then it would be maybe feasible at looking to increase our capacity.

Can I make a suggestion to the north stand which in my opinion would create a few extra hundred seats with great views. I know we don't really need extra seating but the views would be exceptional IMO.

Have a look at the image and compare with what currently exist in the north stand. It would not cost a lot of money either to revert to this.

I don't know why we have the massive exits that are at the bottom of the north stand, IMO they take up to many good seating views :50::50:

they should do something with the roof on the main stand its a joke with the green pillars blocking views and it gets 2 support pillars when a game isn't on and its all uneven and bevelled

The exists in the north stand are required to comply with building/stadium regulations in case of an emergency.

They better get the expansion plans drawn up quickly. When Brendan comes in and wins the Champions League there's no way 60,000 is going to be enough.

Markybhoy are you a wizard lad?

Anyone's opinions changed now with the new appointment? Attendances will be insane this season is my guess, the buzz is back at Parkhead.

Think we will see some big crowds again next season, with a good euro run and the board backing us for Europe for years, we will be surely looking at expansions again in due course.

Just let it be noted it will be because of us that our crowds go up, nowt to do with that job across town

Agreed. Haven't had this sort of excitement from Celtic since we signed Robbie Keane on loan. :56:

The main difference won't be the number of season tickets sold, the difference will be that people will actually turn up!

There were 45k season tickets sold last season but for many fans it seemed like it was just to keep their seat and they rarely showed up. Next to us there were 7 empty seats for the full season last year, phoned the TO to enquire about a few family members relocating next to us a few games in but they were all season ticket seats!

All the stands should be level and a retractable roof added to what would become a 70,000 capacity stadium.
