I think the game at the weekend will be a big indicator of who he plays.

Griffiths still for me but it's a tough one. I'd not care at all if Deila went with Guidetti though.

I think we need someone with a bit more pace and energy than John can offer, but he scored. I'd start Guidetti, have him give a 100% and when he starts to get tired, bring on Griffiths. He's a nippy wee * who should be able to run rings round a tired duo of Campagnaro and Ranoccia

Guidetti caused them problems off the bench. Maybe we get the best out of him when he's fresh and the defenders have tired.

Griffiths is looking for that ball over the top all the time, Guidetti has more of a physical presence up there.

For continuity's sake their's no big reason to change it. When the defenders begin to tire maybe that's the time to bring Guidetti on, at the same time you have to wonder how he'd have got on if he'd come on a bit earlier last night. But it worked out pretty well with Griffiths up front. We got the goals with Griffiths as the decoy.

Interestingly I see this one as a bit more of a dilemma.

It could be argued Griffiths would be more suitable for an away European tie, however, as in the home leg Guidetti is the better footballer and thus has more of an opportunity to score against quality players.

Guidetti seems to need longer to start up as where Griffiths is always ready wouldn't mind starting Griffiths on the Right but would probably play forrest there if I had my choice

You know im not that bothered who he picks because its an absoloute given that whoever of them start they will work like * and give their defence no time to settle and if we can create chances then i reckon we will score. And if not we have goals in other areas too.

I am edging towards Guidetti at the moment but I really amnt that bothered. I think they both showed last night that they can have an impact in different ways.

It might be a bit easier to decide after the weekend.

I know you dont rate Guddetti but i think you are spot on here. I expect us to get more space in the away leg and them Inter defenders turn like buses so speed is what we need in this tie, to start with anyway.

I really hold no preference that's why I thought id ask but you could be right, same tactics again could work. Start with Griff, let him outrun the inter cb's and bring Guidetti on maybe a bit longer this time and see if he can grab a goal.

    Or in reverse

    * knows

    Good luck Ronny :52:

Yeah especially as the last few seasons we've been struggling up top. Too reliant on hooper, then it was up to commons to provide. Griffiths and Guidetti are both very capable in different ways.

Guidetti's in the better form now.... over the last day or so he's proven to be more consistent than Griffiths.... and that's all we judge players on, small periods, right lads? :87:

If it isn't big John I'll be really surprised he has, Griffiths run around was creditable but come on ffs, Guidetti got us a vital goal when we needed it most and he was barely on the pitch. He probably would have held the ball up better, passed it better and we wouldn't have surrendered it so easily when all we could do was hit and hope Griffiths would run in behind. Guidetti just offers far more, it's as simple as that and no amount of goals against * Scottish pub teams will disprove that.

Griffiths played a big part in the first goal.

But harsh on griffiths that. Bearing in mind that Guidetti hasn't scored against those '* pub teams' in two and a half months...

Would only be fair to start Guidetti but Griffiths could score at the weekend again and make it harder for Ronny

Hi in fairness Leigh went to the front post and took 2 men with him clearing the space for Stuart behind
